𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 | 𝐥𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚

𝟏𝟑. 𝐢 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮

i wake up by a knock on my bedroom door. i get up and open it to see a fatui diplomat.

"the tsaritsa has requested for you to visit her at 10:00am sharp." the woman states and then leaves. i close the door and check the time.

9:00am it reads.

i had an hour to get ready which really wasn't a lot of time. i look for my uniform and change into it. i put my hair into a low bun like most of the time and go brush my teeth and use the restroom.

i take an apple out of my fruit bowl and begin eating the juicy red apple whilst sketching in my notebook. i hum a sweet melody and put my notebook on my nightstand. i read a chapter of my favourite book to pass some time.

i looked at the clock and saw it saying 9:55am. i put some shoes on and leave my room heading towards the tsaritsa's chamber. within a few minutes i reach the tsaritsas chamber and knock on the door a few times.

"come in." the woman inside spoke with anger laced through her tone.

i opened the door entering the room where i see signora kneeling. i kneel beside her to show respect to the tsaritsa.

"how dare you both. i am disgusted to have you both as my harbingers. you are everyones role model, everyone looks up to you two, and you choose to commit something so disgusting, in my palace."

i frowned in dissapointment, how could i be such a fool..

"you two know what happens when you break this rule, you both disgust me."

"im sorry.." i mumble.

"signora you are first."

i helplessly watch this gruesome scene before me. the tsaritsas eyes filled with anger to the point even a glance from her could make you pass out. signoras begs and sobs echoed through the chamber. the two of them wanting two very different things, one wanted love and forgiveness, the others only desire was blood. the taller figure raising her sword above my one and only true love.

signoras screams and begs only got louder and more desperate, a truly horrifying sound to anyone in the palace, but to the tsaritsa it was like a beautiful melody. the only thing i felt watching this scene was despair. the love of my lifes death was happening right in front of my eyes and all i could do was watch. the person i loved more than anything in the world was going to die, just like everyone else did.

this is all my fault, a life being taken just because i loved someone too much, how pathetic.

"any last words my lovely?" the tsaritsa said with a smirk painted along her lips.

signora weakly muttered, "i love you my beloved little y/n, always remember that.

"how pathetic" the archon spat.

"remember, this was our forbidden little secret. my love for you will never die, it will live on. you really were my one true love. goodnight y/n, goodnight to the fatui, goodnight to all the harbingers. goodnight to everyone"

tears began pouring from my eyes, all i could do was cry and watch.

signora looked up at the tsaritsa and she  thrusted her blade into your lovers chest

i ran to catch her body and cried, giving a kiss to her forehead. your hand gently caressed her cheek.

"in another life my love, i would do this again without a regret, we will meet again one day, and to that day, my love for you will never fade."

i allowed the tears to spill from my tired eyes, mascara staining my cheeks and soaking my eyelashes. i snatch the sword from the tsaritsas hand.

"fuck you, you're disgusting, you're nothing but a stupid heartless archon who cares about nobody but herself, nobody listens to this stupid rule, let people love who they love, you can't control who someone loves." i sobbed

i throw a punch to the tsaritsa's face.

"if her times up, so is mine, you disgust me."

i pierce through my chest with the sword whilst my hands are interwined with my dead lovers, with her i will we able to rest with peace.

once i escaped from the pain of having to live, in front of you was the woman i have always loved, and and will love for eternity.

"one day in another life, we will be together once more, my love" signora spoke.

"goodbye to the one i love the most."

"someday, in another life we will be together again, farewell."

we parted ways, ascending to the beautiful stars above, where i will watch over the lands i once wandered.
