The first thing that greeted me when I went back is Athanasia hitting Lucas on the head. I gasped at the sight which made them look at me. Their eye widened in shock.

"S-She hit me on the head! No one had ever hit me, not even our master!" Lucas yelled while pointing at the princess who's still stunned at my sudden appearance.

"...What a sight, I suppose?" I sweat dropped. Athanasia just stared at me in shock which made me blink.

"How could you betray me?! I taught you everything about mana when you were young!" I pierced a gaze at Lucas.

"You just helped me, master was the one who taught me everything." He scowled at me while rolling his eyes.

"U-Uhh.."

I heard the girl blurting out which made me glance at her. I made my way towards her with our eyes glue at one another. I stopped in front of her before cupping her cheeks.

"It seems like you've grown well while I went away. Such a shame, I would've been the one who healed you instead of Lucas." I said as I examined her nervous expression.

"A-Are you Maureen? The one that Lily told me about?" Her question made me feel joy.

"Yes! I'm Maureen, just call me Maui! Do you still remember me??" I questioned after I grabbed both of her hands.

"I-I don't think so..."

Her reply made me look at her blankly. I knew that she was lying, but I know her reason to do so. I faked a sad smile and looked down to the ground.

"I see.."

"B-But, I know that you're the one who took care of me when I was little!" Her sudden statement made me look up to her in shock.

"R-Really?"

"Yes! Lily showed me a memory stone about you.." I smiled brightly and mentally thanked Lily for going through such lengths.

"Hello, I'm still here."

We heard Lucas saying from the side which made us turn our heads around to where the voice came from and saw him with his arms crossed beneath his chest.

"Also, you personally took care of this girl?" He looked at me and I nodded. "Well, that's new."

"New?" Athanasia questioned which made him look at her.

"Never once had this one volunteered to personally take care of a member of the royal family."

"Well, that's because you threatened them everytime they tried to approach me. Besides, I've taught some royal members when you decided to sleep and give me all of your responsibilities." He looked away as he clicked his tongue.

"You just taught them, but didn't took care of them." I huffed my cheeks.

"At least I took care of your tower." I looked away from him and averted back my attention at Athanasia.

"Look how you've grown! If Diana was here, she would've been crying with tears of joy if she saw you!" I nuzzled my cheek with hers.

"D-Diana? Is that my mother's name? How did you know her?" She pampered me with questions which made me chuckle.

"Yes, Diana is your mother and his majesty's wife. When she was still here, we were the closest. Me, her, and Lily." She just looked down which made me smile sadly. "She loved you very dearly when you were still in her womb."

I shrunk myself to Lucas's child like height before wrapping my arms around her delicate figure. I caressed her back while she hesitated to hug back but did so, anyways.

"Tch why are you two getting so touchy all of a sudden?"

I slightly pulled away from Athanasia and looked at Lucas. I grinned at his annoyed expression and decided to tease the child like magician.

"Why?"

I questioned which made him click his tongue before appearing beside us and pulling me apart from Athanasia. I widened my eyes at shock when I felt her small arms leaving my body.

"There, much better."

The only thing I can do is huff my cheeks.

"..The magician of the tower has always been, consistently, the best looking person of all." Lucas scowled.

I'm currently in the scene where he's saying the truth about the history that the writers tampered with a bunch of lies. I chuckled at his childish behavior.

He never really changed despite sleeping for hundreds of years. I unconsciously stared at him and felt my heart race which alarmed me. I quickly looked away from the male who's looking at Athy.

I felt a certain sting in my heart which made me furrow my eyebrows. I shook my head, denying the feeling since it would be impossible for me to bear such feelings towards Lucas who already has Athy.

I just want to live this life peacefully without having to fall in love since it would be troublesome since my heart might just shatter in the end. I'm here to support Lucathy and not destroy it. don't do any mistakes, self! I nodded.

"Is everything okay?"

I jumped when Lucas's face suddenly appeared inches away from my face. I quickly moved away from him while trying to calm my pounding heart.

"Y-Yeah! Everything's fine! Nothing to worry about!" I stuttered which made me mentally face palm myself.

"You're lying. Your face is all red, are you okay?" He questioned as he neared himself to me which made me flinch.

"Maui?" I heard Athy calling out from behind me.

"Guys! Guys! I'm really fine! It's just so hot!" I nervously replied and quickly casted a spell to cool my face down.

"Oh, yeah. It's already summer."

I mentally sighed in relief when they believed my little lie. That's what I thought until Lucas decided to grab my hand. I widened my eyes in shock while he blankly looked at me.

"We'll just have a small talk." Lucas said.

"W-Wait!"

I said that too late since we already teleported inside of my room. My heart was racing and I can't calm it down because of the male's stare. He started walking closer to me while I walked backwards.

I bumped onto something soft that I claimed as my bed and fell on my butt. I glanced down before looking up, only to find him trapping me between his arms and leaning his face towards me.

"What's wrong? You think I'd believe your petty little lie?" He questioned which made my cheeks heat up.

"U-Uhh! Y-You! Lucas you bastard!"

I yelled while small beads appeared on the corner of my eyes which made his eyes widen in shock. I quickly pushed him away from me.

I stood up and ran out of my room.
