"Bored?" I questioned the Athanasia who has her head on top of a book.

"Yeah, I'm bored. There's nothing to do." She replied with full honesty.

A page of the calendar had been turned after everything that happened inside of the princess's private library. I chuckled at her lazy and bored expression plastered on her face.

In the time I spent after that, I thought about fleeing again. Not because of Lucas, but because of the fact I'm worried of the jealousy from inside my heart that's growing day by day.

I loathed myself for being jealous of them when I knew that they've always been meant to be for one another. I was relieved when I bear no hatred towards the child who I treated ad my own.

Sometimes, I would forget about the fact that she's an adult from the inside. I guess that I've been bewitched by her adorableness, not that I mind. I loved every part of it because I knew that she really wasn't acting, at all.

As for Lucas, I just slightly avoided the male without him noticing. It felt right since he was acting so weirdly when I didn't, but a part of me had hoped to just enjoy it. But I just can't, I don't want to become someone who steal's someone else's property, it's just not right.

"Then, would you like to go outside and explore for a bit?" She jolted up from her seat when I asked that. She looked at me with glimmers in her eyes.

"Can we?? But, daddy probably won't let me.." She frowned while I just grinned.

"Who said that he had to know?"

She looked at me confusedly while I just snapped my fingers. I created a duplicate of Athanasia before we teleported in the town. She gasped when she saw that we're outside of the palace.

"H-How?? Why didn't you inform me that you can teleport like Lucas, too??" She questioned while I just chuckled.

"You never really asked. Besides, this is my farewell gift for you."

I replied which made her furrow her eyebrows before looking down. I smiled sadly until she suddenly stomped her way towards me and grabbed my shoulders.

"Why are you leaving, again?!" She asked with small beads forming on the corner of her eyes.

"I need to do something." I replied as I cupped her cheeks and started wiping her tears with my thumbs.

"Why do you always need to leave? Lucas is always busy, but he was never that busy to leave the empire! Just why...why do you have to leave? You just got back.."

My heart swelled as she continued to cry her eyes out. If only I didn't bear any feelings for your destined lover, I wouldn't have had left. I'm sorry because I needed to leave you because of my selfishness.

"Lucas can't always leave the empire because he's the royal magician, Athanasia. I'll be back before you know it, so wait for me, okay?" She pouted her lips which made me giggle.

"When you come back, you better stay here forever. That's an imperial order!" She scowled which made me sweat drop.

"I'll try not to leave when I come back." I smiled which made her pull away from me very childishly.

Seeing that she only act this way towards me, made me realize how she sometimes view me as her mother. I'm somehow glad because I managed to fulfill Diana's wishes.

"Maui..please take care of Athanasia for me..."

I shook my head and approached the pouting princess. I changed our clothes into the citizen's attires and manipulated her eyes, turning them into ruby ones that are like her mother's.

"Shall we get going?"

We looked around the food market, she would always mesmerize the fruits that they were selling. Seeing her reactions personally, it made me happy.

She would constantly point at the food stalls and I'd buy what she wanted with the power of mana money, she really ate so many. I was wondering how small her waist still is, when she ate so many.

She even wanted to continue to eat at a café that looked quite similar. I remembered that Ijekiel and Jennette are there. I told her about their presence and she quickly called quits, I chuckled at her behavior.

We went to the bird shop since she wanted to look around. I just made sure that she wouldn't bump into the whitey's boy since it would be troublesome to deal with him now when I'm just planning to enjoy my time with the princess.

I remembered that this will be where Anasticius would finally meet Jennette. I told the princess an excuse and gave her many money to use. I casted a protection and teleportation spell on her, just in case.

I went through the stalls and started searching for the chimera and her father. Once I found them, I quickly made my way to them unnoticeably to avoid suspicions from the man.

"..I wanted to buy a present for my little sister." I heard Jennette saying. I reached out to her just in time.

"Then, wouldn't this be nice?" I asked while I grabbed a pin that's filled with blue and white flowers. The two of them looked at me in shock while I just smiled.

"Ah, yes. This looks very pretty, it matches her eyes!" She beamed at me.

"If her eyes are blue, then this will really match her! You see this.."

I pointed at the only white flower on the center of the pin and casted a very strong protection spell that only Lucas would notice. I also planted a purification spell in case Anasticius does something.

"These blue flowers means love! And this big white flower on the center means purity.."

She nodded and quickly bought the pin. I smiled at her enthusiasm without spearing a glance to Anasticius. The girl quickly approached us when the seller gave her the bag which contains the pin.

"Thank you so very much for this!" She cried while I just smiled.

"No problem! I have to get going now. I hope your sister likes it! Oh, I almost forgot.."

I created a necklace while I acted that I was searching something from my bag. I pulled out the necklace and handed it out to her. The necklace has a tear of emerald ore as a design.

"F-For me??" I chuckled at her reaction.

"Yes, I would be so happy if you accept it." She hesitated but grabbed the necklace, anyways.

"Thank you so very much."

I smiled before turning around, I waved my hand to her before walking away.

Without me noticing,

I blacked out.
