It's been days since that dream. I somehow find myself blushing when I recall such a dream, sometimes I regret and don't regret what I did there.

I regret embracing my feelings since it will only hurt me in the end, but I don't regret having to experience such moment with him.

Such a dream won't affect the plot, anyways. That's what I thought until the following day after I dreamt of that, Lucas was everywhere. He would constantly pop up wherever I go and sometimes would talk to me with a charming smile on his face!

I felt guilty since he was supposed to be Athanasia's lover in the manhwa. I tried my best to ignore my feelings because I know it's wrong to bear such an emotion towards someone who can't be mine.

"What are you thinking about?"

I jolted when I heard Lucas's voice. I quickly turned and saw him standing beside me with an eyebrow raised. I bit my inner cheeks and just smiled at him before continuing my tracks.

"How I'll get rid of the ones who are insulting the princess."

I replied with a slight honesty. I really am planning what to do with those who are rubbing Athanasia's cheek with the fact that Diana was just a commoner. They just won't let the poor girl, who lost her mother in a very young age, go.

"Are you really Maui?" I raised an eyebrow at his question.

"Yes, why?" We stopped from our tracks.

"I see that you're not an imposter or anything. When did you even managed to learn how to dirty your hands, huh? From what I remember, you can't even kill a fly. Your mouth may be tainted, but your personality isn't."

I widened my eyes at his statement. My heart started to race because of how he remembered the small details about me. I shook my head and started walking again to calm my heated cheeks.

"It's just! The princess is like a daughter to me, okay? And Diana is one of my closest friends, she did so much for me. Taking care of Athanasia as my own is the least that I can do for her."

It wasn't a lie, I did took care of Athanasia because Diana wasn't able to. Besides, I never had a chance to bear a child because my psychotic sister and ex boyfriend killed me.

"You'll be a good mother." I glanced at him and looked away.

"If I managed to get a boyfriend, I would be." I smirked proudly.

"I can be yo-"

"-May I ask who those two are?"

His sentence was cut off by a feminine voice. We looked at where the voice came from and saw Athanasia having a tea party with some girls and.. I glanced at the oak haired girl, Jennette.

"Lucas and Maureen."

We approached them while Athanasia stated our names. She smiled at me and I returned it back with a nod. Me and Lucas bowed a little before raising our heads.

"Blessings and glory upon the Obelian empire." We said in sync.

"Uh, hm. This is Lucas and Maureen, the royal magicians." Athanasia introduced us, I smiled at the girls before averting my eyes to the princess.

"I see that you've made many friends, princess Athanasia." I stated which made her nod.

"Yes, we are having quite a lovely time. Would you like to join us, Maui?"

She questioned which made me glance to the boy beside me. He returned the gesture and nodded in agreement. I smiled happily at him and nodded back before facing Athanasia, again.

"I'd be glad to join your tea party, princess. Thank you for inviting me."

I said before I made my way towards her and created another chair with the same design like the ones they're sitting on. She gestured for me to sit beside her and I gladly obeyed.

"I beg your pardon, but I must leave at once. I'm needed at the tower."

Lucas said as he started walking towards Athanasia then to, me?? I looked at him in confusion until he suddenly grabbed my hand and lifted it up to his lips. I gasped and I can hear everyone doing the same.

"I'll see you later, Maui."

He said as he gently placed my hand back down on my lap and started walking away, leaving me on my spot with certain waves of emotions clashing inside me.

I was still stunned on my spot until I felt someone shaking me. I flinched and quickly turned then saw Athanasia looking at me with glimmers in her eyes. I blinked and collected my senses back.

"When? How? Why didn't any of you told me?"

She asked without caring about the girls. I glanced at her friends who also had the same expression on their faces. I sweat dropped at the sight.

"N-Nothing! I don't know why he acted that way, I apologize." I looked down in embarrassment.

What do I do now? Lucas had never acted that way! No..we did something way worse! We sometimes slept together in the same bed in the past! My cheeks heat up. My heart pounded so hard like it's gonna pop out of my chest.

"O-Oh! I'm sorry, everyone! But I remembered that I have something more to do in the tower!" I abruptly shot up from my seat and attempted to leave until I felt someone grab my wrist.

"I didn't give you any permission to leave." I turned around and saw Athanasia with a smirk across her lips. I gulped.
