Athanasia was just kicked out of a bookstore after the seller said that she was cursed. What the man said made her confused since she knows that the novel, The Lovely Princess, finished with a happy ending.
Without a warning, she suddenly teleported into Claude's office where the said person is just about to finish. He looked up to her when he noticed her sudden presence.
"Athanasia?"
He called out to her while she just stared blankly at him. Before she can spoke, a light suddenly came out of her chest and flew up to the sky. Lucas also teleported in the room with a surprised expression on his face.
"Athanasia, if you're hearing this, must mean that something life threatening had come across you within 15 meters or something must've happened to me."
Maureen's voice echoed through the room. The three widened their eyes when they heard the message. The light turned into a hologram of the girl who's speaking.
"If this hologram of me turned red, that means something dangerous entered 15 meters around you. However, if I turned purple, it means that something happened to me."
"What..?"
Was all the princess can blurt out when the girl's hologram turned red. Lucas was still processing what's happening.
"Purple. I'm happy your life wasn't put into danger, Athanasia. Now that something happened to me, please refrain from searching about my whereabouts. This hologram cannot guarantee wether I'm still alive or not."
"Absurd! How can you be so reckless?!" Lucas yelled at the hologram as if it can hear him and it did.
"Lucas, I knew you'd react like this." Maui chuckled which angered the mentioned male.
"Lucas, I don't know if I'd still be alive or not. I have a favor, please take care of Athanasia for me."
"Athanasia this, Athanasia that! All you care about is her! Why can't you care about yourself for once?! You've always been like this..!" Lucas lowered his head to hide the fact that he's crying.
"Did you even consider what I would feel? Have you even considered my feelings at all?! You keep on leaving without telling me anything! You've never told me anything about you! The only thing you've ever told me is your name! You've always been lying and making excuses all the time!"
"Athanasia, Lucas.. I give you two my blessing for the future. Thank you for everything, thank you for living, thank you for giving me a purpose, and thank you for making me feel so happy."
Lucas didn't want to hear it, he doesn't want to hear her bidding him goodbye. He wanted to teleport away, but he couldn't. Not when there's still a glimmer of hope within him for her to say that it's just a joke.
