Quinn was giving me a few calls, and I kept missing them.
I realised Finn had token the car so I started walking home.
I though she would never forget me.
I thought we were meant to be.
I couldn't get home. I didn't want to see Finn neither.
I was feeling guilty for still loving her.
And Finn didn't deserve that.
It was all her fault, and I shouldn't have come. Ever.
My mobile suddenly rung. It was Kurt, this time.
"You looked sad...wanna talk?"
I bursted into tears. "I'll be at Lima Bean. Go there and relax." He said.
I hung up and turned off my phone. He reached me in about 5 minutes.
"I don't know what's happening with me and her, Kurt." I said, wiping my tears away.
"Rachel, I wanna help you, but I need you to be completely honest with me. Would you please tell me what's gone on between you and Miss Fabray?"
I took a deep breath and then started talking.
Kurt listened to me carefully.
"I know Finn's your step-brother. I love him, but I actually can't get her out of my mind. And since we've come back here, I haven't stopped smelling her perfume not even for a second."
He looked disappointed. Then he spoke.
"I knew you've always been into her. I knew that!" He paused and looked me in the eyes. "I care about Finn, and if you wanna be with her, you should talk to him first."
"I don't wanna love her." I said.
"You can't decide who you wanna love. And there's no way you can control your feelings."
"She was the first to make me feel the way Finn does now. I got over her, long ago. But seeing her again isn't doing me well."
Kurt took my hand. "Then you must talk to her and fix this. If you wanna be with Finn, you need to forget her. You can't feel guilty about what you feel just because of her."
We got out of the bar and Kurt greeted me.
I turned on my mobile and I had 13 more missed calls from Quinn.
I called her back.
"Rachel, where the Hell are you? And why weren't you answering? Are you ok?"
"We need to talk. And work on our song." I replied.
"I've just finished with Coach Sylvester. Where are you?"
"Lima Bean."
"I'm coming." - she stopped from saying something. - "I'm sorry, Rachel." She added, and then hung up. And I broke into tears again.
I managed to dry them before her getting there. I got on her car and stayed silent.
"Is my house ok?" She said, without even looking at me.
I just nodded.
"I don't want you to be hurt. Puck and I have been very close, lately." She started, and my eyes immediately got wet. "We've been dating for two weeks, now."
"Does he know anything?" I asked.
"No. Does Finn?"
"No."
She suddenly stopped the car, and finally caught my tearful eyes.
"Would you leave Finn to be with me?" She asked.
"I don't know." I whispered.
She took my hand. "You wouldn't. He makes you happy, and gives you everything."
"Does Puck give you everything?" I asked.
"No. But that's not the point." She paused. "Listen to me, Rachel." - She stated - "I love you. Never stopped, actually. But I can't ask you to run away with me and forget about Finn."
She pushed my hair back behind my ear and lightly touched my cheek.
Then she started wiping my tears away.
"Does that mean we can't be together?" I asked.
"I don't know."
"Fine."
"Can we at least pretend you're not mad at me?" She said, starting the car again.
"I could never be mad at you, Quinn. You know."
She smiled. "Good. - I read what you wrote on that page. I got one for you, too." She added, taking a piece of paper out of the pocket of her jeans and giving it to me.
I Know You Care. We had chosen the same song without even knowing.
We got out of her car and went to her bedroom.
We just decided how to sing the song and then I asked Finn to pick me up.
As I was walking out of the door, Quinn grabbed my hand and stopped me.
She got closer. Maybe too much.
I could see her green eyes getting watery. "I'm so sorry, Rachel."
"It's okay, Quinn-" she suddenly pushed her lips against mine.
And I could feel the tears falling down on her cheeks and stopping on my skin.
I needed her.
