Once we got out of the car, I grabbed Quinn by the wrist and run to the backyard.
Puck and Finn followed us.
"You're late! Guess who's to blame..." Santana said, looking at me.
"I made it in time, for that matter." I replied.
I was now holding Quinn's hand.
"Okay just stop that now or we'll never do this...it's time to break in!" Sam added, and then we climbed up the window one by one.
We sang a few songs in the choir room and then played basketball and dodgeball in the school gym - for Santana's sake. And she won, of course.
Then we all started feeling a little worn out.
"Guess it's time to start drinking, though." Said Artie, taking out some vodka from Quinn's bag.
We all sat on the floor.
"Let's play spin the bottle!" Came out of an enthusiastic Tina's mouth.
I didn't actually felt about playing, but since anybody else had agreed I kinda had to accept as well.
"I'll go first!" Said Kurt, and the bottle pointed Blaine.
Yet they'd just broken up.
"I don't know if that's-" Blaine tried to say, but Santana interrupted him.
"C'mon, gay-Blaine. That's just a game!"
"I kinda do agree with him, actually...what if we just drink and pass?" Said Kurt.
"No way dudes. C'mon!" Puck answered.
And since everyone went on pushing, Kurt and Blaine eventually kissed.
Then Santana kissed both Brittany and Sam, and Sam had to kiss Tina.
Then Tina kissed Mike and Artie and Artie kissed Brittany.
Then Puck spun the bottle and kissed Quinn. He also tried to stick his tongue in Quinn's mouth, but she managed to withdraw just in time.
Then I kissed Finn. We were officially an item, actually, so we kissed everyday. It was just a light smack.
Then I had to spin the bottle myself. And it pointed Quinn Fabray.
"Oh. Don't worry guys, I'll spin it again." I said, smiling at Quinn and putting my hand back on the bottle.
But someone stopped me.
"Don't you dare, Dwarf." It was Santana. "Rules are rules, you can't ruin the game right now!"
"Santana, that would be...kind of juicy, don't you think?" I replied, looking for some support from Quinn.
But she didn't move.
"C'mon Rach, it's just an innocent kiss!" Tina added.
Everybody in that room was looking at me, except for Quinn.
She was nervously playing with her ring, taking it off her finger.
Then she looked up and caught my eyes.
"Fine..." I said, getting closer.
"You don't have to." She whispered in my ear, and I smiled to her as an answer.
Then I kissed her softly and moved back as soon as I could.
She smiled.
"That was the most awful kiss I've ever seen, Berry!" Santana said, mocking at me.
As usual."Rachel... Rachel...babe, it's 10 am, we've gotta go." Finn gently put his lips on mine.
I woke up, kissed him again and got ready quickly.
"We'll be visiting New York. There's so much to see!" I said enthusiastically, checking a map I had found in a magazine several months ago.
"I remember...we lost sectionals in New York."
"And it was your fault. Yet that will always be the only loss I'll never regret." I said, smiling to my boyfriend and watching him smiling back.
We spent our afternoon having fun as if we turned back time.
I remembered seeing the center of Times Square for the first time, running and singing with her friends and then having breakfast at Tiffany's with Kurt the day after.
And I felt a thrill running through my spine.
We got back home later.
Finn was having a shower, while I was studying on my laptop.
He came to the living room and he had just a towel wrapped around his waist. He was drying his hair with another one and checking his mobile phone with his free hand.
"Kurt just texted me if I had received any emails from our High School...have you?"
My blood run cold immediately.
"W-what?" I asked.
I froze, actually. Finn went on talking and telling me the things Kurt had said, but I couldn't listen to anything that was happening around.
Why had he got that email? Were we about to get one, too? Was anyone else getting it?
My mobile phone vibrated and got my mind back, still analysing the situation.
"Oh here it is!" Finn said, moving back to the bathroom and probably reading it.
