"I think you forgot something." She said, pointing at the kitchen.
"Shit." I said, running into the room and opening all the windows, trying to let out the smoke.
I could hear Quinn laughing from the other room.
"Stop it!" I said, though I loved that sound. "And order pizza, instead. Otherwise, we won't have dinner tonight."
After eating, we got upstairs and entered my bedroom.
I sat on the edge of my bedroom and she stood in front of me, not saying a word.
I took courage and finally talked. "Shall we let others know, this time?" I asked her, hinting at our previous relationship.
I double tapped the soft mattress right next to me, suggesting her to sit down.
And so she did.
"I think so, but maybe not now..." - she turned to me - "I don't want them to think this's kinda rushed."
I had to agree, though I feared she would have to stay away from me in presence of others.
Yet she reassured me soon after. "...but I won't give up holding your hand." She said, fiercely, making me smile like a complete fool.
We laid down. I put my head on her lap and she delicately caressed my hair.
Being with her really made me feel comfortable and completely forget the world.
I could feel her eyes stuck on me.
We fall asleep in that same position.
When I woke up, she was still sleeping.
Her hand was holding mine, now.
I turned, carefully to not wake her, and let my eyes wander over her blonde hair, her long eyelashes, the almost invisible freckles around her nose, and her lips, which were slightly parted.
Her chest moved up and down with every breath. The movement was almost
unnoticeable.
She clutched my hand tighter, with her eyes still closed.
The bruise right on her cheek was slowly fading away.
"Quinn...get up, it's 9.00 am." I said, touching her arm.
She moaned.
I got closer and pressed a kiss on her lips.
And she woke up.
"What was that for?" She asked in a hoarse voice and rubbing her eyes.
I smiled. "Nothing. Just the fact you're finally mine."
She smiled back.
We got downstairs and my dads were waiting for us in the kitchen. "Good morning, girls!" They said, both with a grin on their faces. "We made vegan pancakes! It's the best way to say goodbye to our little star, isn't it?"
I completely forgot. I was getting back to New York, tomorrow morning.
Again.
Quinn looked confused. She caught my eyes, furrowing her eyebrows.
"I've gotta go. Thanks for breakfast and for...everything." She suddenly said, greeting my dads and hurrying out of the door.
I run over her. "Quinn, wait!"
I managed to reach her with a big effort.
"Quinn please, let me explain-"
"You're leaving, and this time without even telling me!" She said sharply.
"I-I forgot, you know, it's been a long week and-"
"Not the point." She interrupted me, with tears in her eyes. "We're together from less than a day and we're already fighting." She said.
She waited for me to answer, but nothing came out of my mouth.
"Santana's picking me up. Leave me alone, please." She said, barely crying.
And so I did. I left her alone, there.

"You really didn't even try to fix things?! What the Hell's wrong with you, Rachel!?"
"She won't listen, Kurt. And she's right, after all. We're never gonna work out."
"Rachel, you know her. Better than anyone else. You know how frail and insecure she is. You shouldn't have treated her this way." Kurt said.
"Oh, it's easy to blame it all on me!" I replied in an annoyed voice.
"Do you wanna lose her?" He suddenly asked, leaving me with no words.
And that was when I realised I should have acted differently.
What if she didn't want to see me again?
I really messed up.
"No." I just said, and hung up.
I put on my coat and immediately got out.
I had to find her, to talk to her and to fix this thing.
That was our occasion to finally be together, and it definitely couldn't be wasted.
I drove up to her house and knocked the door.
Judy appeared in front of me.
"Rachel...it's so good to see you? How are your dads?" She asked, smiling.
"Hi Mrs Fabray...dads are great. I'm sorry to bump in like this, I just wanted to know if Quinn's home..."
"Oh, she's at Santana's. Do you need anything?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows like Quinn always does.
"No, thank you. I-I've gotta go." I said in a hurry, getting back in my car.
