As I opened my eyes, the next morning, I caught her gaze.
Sun rays were all over her naked body, covered up by the blanket - which needed to be cleaned.
She was sitting on the edge of my bed.
"Hi." I whispered in a still sleeping voice, rubbing my eyes.
"Hi yourself." She replied, keeping a soft voice and smiling, a small dimple in her left cheek.
"I didn't thank you in a proper way for the flowers, yesterday. They're really beautiful." She said.
"I think you did, actually." I said, making her blush.
I got up, covering myself at my best, and sat next to her.
"I really enjoyed last night." I whispered, before kissing her kindly. "I had also ordered pizza, but the delivery guy probably ate it and kept my money."
"Which is way I was so hungry this morning...I made pancakes for you, I'll go wait downstairs." She said, kissing me on the cheek and getting up, putting her lingerie and a large T-Shirt on.
And so did I, before reaching her in the kitchen.
"You're a great cook, by the way." I stated, after eating her pancakes, getting a "Thank you." and another soft smile as a reply.
She had put the flowers in a pot, right in the centre of the table.
"I've got just one lesson, today. From 5.00 to 6.15 pm. Do you wanna come and see me?" I asked, as I checked my email from Cassandra July - probably NYADA's best dance instructor, as well as my mentor.
"I'd love to." She answered, drinking her hot coffee.
After breakfast, she headed for a shower and I kept waiting in my bedroom.
I took the chance to give Kurt a call.
"Hey Rachel!" He answered, as fast as always.
"When are you coming back? I'm missing you!"
He laughed. "Probably sooner than you can imagine!" He stated. "Where's Quinn?" He asked, all of a sudden.
"She's having a shower."
"But she had one yesterday..."
"Well, that's...none of your business." I said slightly, feeling my face blushing hard.
"OH MY GOODNESS RACHEL, YOU HOOKED UP WITH QUINN FABRAY!"
"Oh my God, Kurt, don't be so rude and lower your voice!" I said, blushing even harder.
"Why didn't you tell me!?" He asked, all in excitement.
"Because, as I said before, that's none of your business."
We both laughed, and kept talking some minutes more.
I even hinted at our double date.
"I've gotta go, Blaine's waiting. I guess we'll be back in two days, by the way...I'll let you know, please don't get pregnant!"
"Oh my God, Kurt, that's not even possible-" but he hung up before I could finish the sentence.
"You can go wash yourself, now." Quinn said, as she entered my room.
Her hair still wet, dripping on her shoulders.
Her, naked, in a towel, again.
"You'd better go now, Rachel." She said, naughtily, as she probably felt my eyes on every visible inch of her skin.
"I-I was about to go." I said, but managed to kiss her quickly before entering the bathroom.
And in just 2 hours and a half - which is my best record -, I was all dressed and had dried my hair.
"Hey." I said, as I walked towards her, sneaking up from behind and wrapping my arms around her waist.
"Rachel! You scared me." She said, trying to move.
She was at the hop, making lunch.
I slowly moved my hands on her hips. "What are you cooking?" I asked, resting my head on her shoulder.
Being fulfilled by her perfume.
"I'm toasting some bread, and I'll go cut an avocado as soon as you let me." She replied, turning to me and leaving a quick kiss on my lips.
"How can I help you?"
"Just lay the table, please."
I headed for the cutlery and looked at her out of the corner of my eye.
She was acting so natural, and right then I thought she fit so well into my everyday life.We cuddled as soon as we finished eating.
I fell asleep with her hand smoothing my face and lightly stroking my hair, which is why I complained when I realised I had to get up to get ready for my lesson.
"Are you sure you don't mind me being there?" Quinn suddenly asked, still lying on the couch.
