It was the day where the Scout Regiment commence
their mission, as I have predicted there would be more losses than progress. It would be brutal for me to witness this the second time.
But not gonna lie I'm quite excited to see them especially Captain Levi Ackerman.
Almost every girl in the real world loves this guy, some even writing fanfictions about him.
Am I one of those people? No.
But do I read what they are writing? Absolutely.
"Look! the main unit of the Scout Regiment!!!" One guy yelled. Pointing at them.
"Commander Erwin, give those titans hell!!" Another yelled again. But of course the stern commander paid no mind to these people.
They haven't witnessed real hell from the outside world.
I stood beside Marco, with Jean at his left side. No one dared to say a word because they were astonished at the sight before them.
"Cool...they're so cool.." I mumbled getting Marco's attention.
"I'm sure you'll be cool as them Y/n...but I guess you're already cool enough to join their regiment.." Marco commented, his soft smile made my heart flutter.
There it is again..the feeling of melancholy. The feeling of weakness, it was like I was about to puke.
"Hey Y/n you okay? You seem like you're upset about something.." The bright boy's worried expression made me frown even more, but our attention got caught by anywhere else, me seeing the trio interact with Hannes.

"What?! You're joining the scouts? Connie!! You were so dead set on the military police!" The teal eyed boy asked as we were cleaning the cannons.
Connie was determined on making his family proud, so making this decision must be hard for him.
"Ahh...and so it goes." I smiled at them, my hands continuously wiping the rear of the cannons and to avoid getting scolded by our superiors.
"Sounds like your speech yesterday won him over!" Mina chimed in.
"Shut up! I made my own decision!" He interjected making me chuckle in amusement.
I stood up deciding on joining their conversation. It would be a loss being in the background all the time.
"Don't be embarrassed...You're not the only one." Thomas replied to him.
"I'm happy you two made up your minds" I happily said putting the rag down.
"Wait..Y/n?! You too??" Eren shockingly asked like he wasn't believing what he's hearing.
"I already decided way before graduation and besides, being in the Scout might make me cooler. So it's a win-win for me." I joked. All of us were radiating positive energy today, but as I had recall this must be the scene where the colossal titan would open the wall for the second time.
I furrowed my brows, noticing Sasha who was holding a portion of meat in her hands.
"I brought some meat from the officers' storehouse!" Sasha whispered.
I backed away, this girl could get us into trouble. But it's better if I go back to being in the background for now keeping watch to what might happen next.
Eren noticed my sudden distance, but he didn't say a word as they were preoccupied by Sasha.
