As they entered the bridge, Natasha gave a small smirk to the men behind her before walking off to one of the agents who was working with scanning the cameras for Barton.

Keira saw Fury standing in the midst of it all at the control center with his back turned to them. Dozens of agents were working on the computers, running around and doing everything in their power to locate Loki and his accomplices.

If SHIELD could locate at least one of them, then they would at least have a clue that hopefully would lead them to retrieve their lost agents and the Tesseract.

Keira slowed her steps down so she could walk beside Steve, who was taking it all in with big eyes and an impressed smile on his face. His hands were in his pockets, and he seemed quite relaxed despite the new surroundings.

Perhaps war looked quite the same, no matter what time period it was fought in. Or well, hopefully, they would be able to stop Loki before the war had the chance to break out.

Banner, on the other hand had shuffled off to the side, also looking around with big eyes but he was clearly uncomfortable. His posture was hunched, and he kept wringing his hands together.

"Lucky we only made one bet, or I'd be running out of money quickly." Steve said as he gave her a small smile, his eyes glinting.

Keira's eyebrows rose in amusement. Wow, he was even joking with her now, on his own accord. Seemed like the Captain warmed up pretty quickly after all.

She shrugged casually with a sly smile on her face as she said, "Well, I'm not gonna say no if you want to give me money every time you are surprised."

Steve gave an amused huff and shook his head at her reply. He had to admit that he liked the young woman. He appreciated the way she treated him like he was one in the crowd, nobody special. And with her light teasing and humor, she was like the little sister he never had.

As their conversation died out, Keira wandered around the room on her own. She quickly spotted Maria and shot her a quick smile and a nod as she couldn't exactly engage in conversation since Maria was overlooking the whole operation of the ship.

The brunette returned the smile before informing the room at large that the engines were running as they should. She then turned towards Fury and spoke directly to him, "We're at level, sir."

"Good. Let's vanish." The Director answered, standing like a statue in the middle of the room. The one sturdy thing amongst all the chaos.

"Engage retro-reflection panels." Maria commanded, and a small whirring sound indicated that the big ship was disappearing from view. Keira had always been fascinated by this technology. It was amazing how something as big as the Helicarrier could become invisible to the eye as if it didn't exist at all.

As they got confirmation that they were completely invisible to the eyes below, Fury turned around to greet them and Keira returned to the big table, settling down on the edge of it with one of her legs dangling over the edge. Steve was slightly to her left, still taking in the sight of the bridge with fascination while Banner stayed in the background.

"Gentlemen." He greeted them before turning towards Keira. "Nowak. Glad to see you could join us. And I didn't even have to order Hill to collect you this time, which was a great surprise." He added, referring back to the night before the Tesseract had been stolen.

Despite his tone being quite serious, Keira could read between the lines and recognized the joke. "Well, I managed to get some beauty sleep this time around, sir. Only need a few hours and I'm ready to work." She joked back with a small smile on her face.
