Chapter 16

9:23am-Sunday

Y/ns POV:
I woke up to bucky moving around "morning buck?" I rubbed my eyes
"Doll wake up,Tchalla wants us" he passed me some clothes.

I got dressed half asleep. Bucky took me from the hut and walked outside the palace where guards where stationed. We walked to Tchalla confused "what's going on?" Bucky asked as a big jet landed infront of us.

The door opened and cap,Sam,Wanda,vison and Nat walked out. Me and Bucky stood holding hands I ran to Wanda and Nat and hugged them both while Bucky and Steve greeted eachother "I missed you girls so much!" I stated
"We missed you to y/n" Wanda smiled
"What have you both been up to?" I asked
"Taking down the red room with my old set up family" Nat laughed
"Living with vision,what about you?" She asked
"Being In a coma" I smiled
"God Wanda step up your game" Nat laughed

I turned and hugged Sam "it's good to see you pigeon"
"You to" he laughed.

I shook some old looking guys hand "hi I'm Bruce banner" he introduced
"Hi I'm y/n,it's nice to finally meet you" I greeted
He turned to Nat "she's nice"

I looked at rhodey and hugged him "still fuming you lot stuck me in jail" I laughed
"Was not my call" he smiled "I'm sure Tony's very sorry"

I squeezed Steve "how you both been getting on?"he asked
"Good,could have been better if we could have spent more time together but at least we are both free now" I smiled

"I wish we could be here on a positive" Steve frowned
"What do you mean?" Bucky asked
"Well we're being attacked by a purple alien named thanos and he wants visions stone" Bruce explained.
"Go get suited up you two" Tchalla ordered and instructed us to follow two women.

They took us to a room with two suits,weapons and a metal arm. Bucky attached it to his shoulder "like it?" He laughed
"It looks great" I smiled pulling on my white suit (I'm imagining this as like a badass Harley Quinn type but you can do whatever 😂)and taking some weapons
Bucky changed and we walked out.

"You are wearing titanium,you should be safe" ayo smiled
"Thanks" I put my thumbs up
All of a sudden we heard a bang "it has started" ayo said running outside

I looked at Bucky nervously, he pulled me into a kiss "it's going to be ok doll I promise"

We ran outside to see explosions on the dome, we watched as our side lined up ready to fight opposite there's who where killing themselves to get inside. All of a sudden many began to break in. The men on the front line lifted there robes creating a shield while everyone behind including me shot at the aliens. They started to run around the back. "Open the barrier" Tchalla ordered. "Wakanda forever!"

The barrier opened and everyone charged forward. I ran next to bucky at the weird alien things, I took out a knife and dragged it down an alien killing it.

Soon I was split from Bucky attacking aliens,it was terrifying.
More and more aliens where coming through the border,jumping on people. I pulled my gun and shot the alien in the eye before another jumped on my back, I struggled as many pilled on me.

Boom!

A bright light shone down blasting the aliens flying. I sat up and took my gun "yes! Your all screwed!" Bruce shouted.
A man with a large hammer,a raccoon and a tree appeared and began to kill things "bring me thanos!" The man yelled In anger.

We continued to fight the aliens lilac and azure blood dripping from their deceased bodies. I decapitated one using a baseball bat "ew,it got on my clothes" I said disgusted. Before turning to smack another one with that bat. I heard a loud rumbling sound and turned to the border to see the ground being lifted. A huge rolling machine moved towards us
"Retreat!" Tchalla yelled as everyone began to run

I froze.

Bucky ran to me "doll come on!" He shouted desperately dragging me "fucking move!"

The wheels began to lift from the ground as red magic surrounded them. The machine was thrown into piles of aliens murderering them all. I took buckys hand "doll it's gonna be all right now snap the fuck out of it and go kill some shit!" He ordered before kissing me.

"Vison needs backup" Bruce said on the earpiece
"I'm on it" Steve said
"On my way" Wanda stated before being knocked down
"Shit, no she's not I am" I panicked and ran towards the woods after Steve

I watched as cap attacked some alien with his shield,I jumped on the aliens back and shot the back of his neck,the bullets just sank into his skin "what the-" he flung me off I crashed to the ground. Vision killed him and fell back down. "Vison!" I shouted and jumped up before helping him to his feet.

"I told you to go" cap crossed his arms
"We don't trade lives captain" he laughed

Something felt off. "Vison go" I ordered

"Can we get backup at this post?" I requested on the earpiece.
"Right away" Bucky said
A few people began to come to us

"Y/n there's nothing here" Steve stated confused.
"For now" I looked around.

Bucky arrived,I ran and hugged him tight "hey doll I've missed you" he smiled
"It's been 20 minute" Sam sighed
"Shut up bird brain" I flipped him off

"Guys! Vison says he's here!" Wanda yelled

"Oh for fuck sakes" I moaned watching as a big Titan walked through a blue portal
"Yep that's thanos" Bruce confirmed
"Thanos? He looks like a fucking grape!" I yelled to him
"Silence you wretched mortal girl" he ordered walking towards me. Bucky stood in his way, "how sweet,young love" thanos laughed
"I'm 105,doesn't sound very young" Bucky stated
Thanos launched him away "you have guts,join me"
"Fuck that" I laughed "I'm done with all that shit"
"Have it your way but don't complain when you lose everything" he stared at me
"What do you mean by that?" I asked
"You'll see my child" he smiled walking away

I stared at him freaked out. Tchalla jumped at him before being flung into a tree;rhodey was squished into his armour;Nat was buried under the dirt. Steve jumped at him hitting his head repeatedly, thanos picked him up and choked him on the floor. I jumped onto thanoses back and hit him in the head with a Bat, I threw the bat and dug my fingers into his eyes giving Wanda time to destroy the stone. "Get off of me!" He ordered using the stones to launch me away.

I hit the floor skidding along the dirt. I laid on the floor in pain, Bucky ran up to me "doll,it's ok I've got you" he pushed my hair out my face. "Come on get up" he helped me up
"Bucky I need to help them" I tried to pull away
"No y/n you've done enough" he held me tight "I'm not losing you"

There was a flash
Something felt off. I looked at Bucky and we both ran back to see thanos was gone,Steve and Thor stood looking confused and shocked. I walked up to them "where has he gone?" I asked

"Y/n.." Bucky said
I turned around to see him slowing fading away "no,no,no please don't leave me" I cried walking towards him
"It's gonna be ok doll" he smiled before he was reduced to ash dropping his gun.

I ran to his ashes and fell to my knees tears rolling down my face, Steve joined me and sat next to me. "He's dead" I cried
"Yeah" Steve said sadly as others gathered around
"I can't find Sam" rhodey informed
"He's dead" I announce "there all fucking dead!"
"Y/n it's gonna be ok" Nat reassured placing her hand on my shoulder
"Don't tell me that! He's gone,again! And it's because of me!" I shouted
"No it's not" Thor said "it's mine"
"I could have done more" I cried picking up his gun and looking it up and down "this was the last thing he touched"
"Yeah" Steve looked down

I walked away, "where are you going mortal?" Thor asked
I turned and pulled the gun on him "do.not. call me that" I ordered
He put his hands in the air "I'm sorry mid-guardian"
"Y/n come home" Steve offered
"No,I can't" I said leaving.
