Chapter 4

1:14 am-Saturday

Y/ns POV:
I woke up screaming,heavy breathing in a cold sweat. Bucky ran into my room in a panic, "hey doll,what's up" he asked sitting down on my bed.
I sat up and shifted next to him. I placed my head between my knees and said "do you ever have nights like these?"
"Yeah, most nights I can't sleep." He took my hand and squeezed it tight, I looked back up at him with watery eyes, "you want to talk about it?" He asked
"If I talk about it I'm scared it'll only make it worse" I sobbed
"Hey,there just nightmares doll,it's not real" he reassured squeezing my hand before standing up.
"Bucky.." I said hoping he would stop
"Yes?" He asked
"Can you stay with me? Even just for 10 minutes?" I asked getting back into my bed
"Of Corse" he smiled, lifting up the quilt and climbing into bed. He lifted up his arm letting my rest my head on his chest before he wrapped his arm around me.
"How come your helping me?" I asked drifting to sleep
"You remind me of how I was when I first escaped:confused,scared,guilty but I never had any help. I don't want that for you" he explained holding me tight till I fell asleep

8:32 am
I woke up again but this time to the sound of rain against my window. Looked to see Bucky laid next to me, he soon woke up "did you sleep ok?"
"Yeah,did you?" I asked
"Yeah,first time in a while actually" he smiled climbing out of bed "I'm gonna go get dressed"

He left the room, I got up and got dressed into some warm clothes before leaving my room. I walked into the living room to see nobody "weird" I said to myself, searched around the house to later find the meeting room with everyone sat around a long table having a heated discussion , I entered the room.
"Why can't she come?" Clint asked "she seems fine"
"She could still be dangerous" Steve argued
"I could still be dangerous" Bucky defended
"What's going on?" I asked confused
"Nothing" Steve said
"Where going on a mission y/n,your coming" tony ordered
"No she's not" Steve said bluntly
"Why not?"I Asked
"Because you could turn on us!" He shouted,
I stood shocked "I would never"
"Come on don't lie to us" he banged his fist on the table
"Steve that's enough" tony stood
"No,she's literally a murder" he yelled
"It's not my fault" I yelled back Running out the room.

I made my way outside into the pouring rain "I can't believe this" I said to myself walking around in the rain.
Bucky ran after me "bad weather for a walk" he laughed "why don't we go back inside"
"I don't think they want me there" I said
"It's just Steve, he's paranoid but he shouldn't be" Bucky smiled
"Why" I asked
"Because he was never paranoid when it was me" he took my hand "now do you want to come on this mission?"
"Yeah,I think" I said nervously
"Then you will" he said rain dripping down his face
I hugged him and smiled "thank you"
"It's ok,let's go get ready then" he said taking my hand and leading me back inside.

Tony walked up to us with some kind of iPad "so y/n you coming?" He asked
"Yeah she is" Bucky smiled
"Right we are dealing with hydra stealing some very important files So what kind of gear,weapons or outfit do you need" he asked
"Hydra?" I said surprised
"Yes,is that a problem y/n?" Tony asked
"N-no it shouldn't be,I need some guns and daggers" I said
"What about an outfit?" He asked
"Just a dress and some heels,preferably matching" I ordered
"A dress? What about a jumpsuit or armour?" He seemed confused
"I've always fought in dresses, hydra ordered it. It's just natural now" I explained
"Fine but when we get back you should train with Nat in some more protective clothes" he explained
"Yeah sure" I agreed walking away

Eventually someone dropped off my outfit and weapons outside my room, I picked them up and laid the shoes,dress,guns,and knives out on my bed. I picked up the dress and put it on.
