The next morning after the incident with Ivy, she had told the doctors on what happened who called the police for her to file a report. As the cops arrived to her hospital room they asked me and Olly to step out of the room and we obliged. About minutes after the cops called us back in the room. They told us that Ivy wasn't the first girl that filed a complaint or restraining order against him. Apparently Ivy wasn't the first girl he assaulted but was the first to be raped.
Ivy cried a lot after hearing that. She wanted to be the only girl to ever go through this with him but she wasn't. She said that no one deserves this to ever happened and that she hurt so bad she didn't want other girls to have been through the same she has.
She said she was fine with the assault that had been going on through the year as long as she was the only girl he focused on, but she wasn't and she's upset about that. She thinks she failed those girls when she didn't, he did.
"So we are going to arrest him and charge him, your going to have to go to court in about a couple weeks and testify against him. Let's pray this works and he goes to jail." The cops says.
"We will also try to get the other girls to come to court as well to help testify. I'm pretty sure they will be happy to help. " he tells Ivy and Ivy nods sadly .
"Thank you." She says quietly. She looks at her thighs, fidgeting with her doctors gown.
"No need, I'm just doing my job." the cops says waving her off.
"Well we should be leaving, I hope you get better. " the second cop says as he opens the door and both the cops walk out after saying there goodbyes.
Oliver claps his hands before opening his mouth and speaking, " The doctor said your able to get discharge as long as you don't lift anything heavy and rest." He says which makes Ivy smile a little.
"I have to go get the papers, I'll be right back." Oliver says as he exits the room leaving me and Ivy alone together.
"Hey Atlas?" I hear Ivy say. I look at her and waited for her to say something.
"How have you been?" She asks me as if she wasn't just crying a minute ago.
"I have been better." I tell her shrugging my shoulders a bit. I stare into her red and puffy green eyes and gave her a tiny grin.
"What have you been up to?" She asks me while resting her chin on her chin.
"Work, fighting, dealing with your lousy brother." I say playfully, a grin spreads across Ivy's face.
"I want to see you fight." She tells me and I respond with a nod.
"Maybe more in the future, you need to get better first and Richard needs to be out away I don't want you getting hurt again." I tell her and she nods with a sigh.
Oliver enters the room with some papers in his hand. He places the papers down and helped Ivy get up. He lead her to the bathroom and handed her some clothes he got from the gift shop. Ivy exits the bathroom after changing and we all leave the room. We leave the hospital and make it to the car. Oliver helps Ivy enter the passenger seat and I make my way to the drivers side. Once we were settled in the car I started driving to their house.
On the drive Oliver and Ivy talked about Oliver's latest football practice. I make it into the neighborhood and close to their driveway to see Ivy and Oliver's parents standing at the door. Memories from last night came back to me as I see their mothers face.
Flash back
I run up stairs towards Ivy's room. I find the paper sitting on the bed next to a huge spot of blood. I quickly enter the bathroom and drained the tub. Once I was done with that I exit the bathroom and walked out of her room and ran back downstairs. I told everyone still here from the party to leave. Groans fill the room but they listened and left. As everyone leaves Oliver and Ivy's parents walk through the front door.
