Atlas POV)

I watch as she laugh and joked around with her friends. I'm glad that she is getting better and she's feeling happier and I can't help but feel pride. Pride for having her come here instead of her old home. Pride of saving her so she can have a chance with this new life. I'm also glad that's she's gotten comfortable. A lot of times she is shy when you first met her but as you gradually get to know her and if she gradually get to know you then she gets more confident. The one thing that upsets me though is that she doesn't call this place home. She calls it my house but it isn't my house it isn't my home it's our home and I want her to feel comfortable enough to call it her home.

The past few weeks all I could think of was her. Her voice, her lips, her hair, her eyes. I just wish I can have her but I don't deserve her. She's so rare and precious and I don't deserve someone like her. I don't deserve anyone.

I hear my name being called and so I look up and try to find the voice.

"Atlas." My eyes meet Ivy's green ones.

"Yeah? " I question.

"Your phone has been ringing. " disappointed I looked at my phone to see and unknown number.

I pick up the phone and ask who it was.

"Atlas, you have a match tonight. " my fighting manager tells me. Ever since my parents died I started to do illegal fighting to get rid of my anger. Although it doesn't work it is quite fun and brings good income.

"Okay I'll be there tonight. " I hang up the call not waiting for him to say anymore and walked upstairs to my room. I changed into some gym shorts and a wife beater shirt. I head  back down stairs and went to the gym. I started to train and work out getting ready of the match. Every time I hit the punching bag and can't help but imagine it being the people whom hurt Ivy. I imagine her mom and started to hit the bag harder, knowing I can't do anything to get mom I take all my anger out on the bag. I then imagine Richards face and started to hit it harder. A slight yelp from behind me startled me and made me turn around.

I turn to see Ivy holding her foot jumping around mumbling curse words.

"What's wrong? " I ask.

"I stubbed my fucking toe what do you think. " she glares at me like I'm the one who hit her toe.

"You okay? " I ask and she shakes her head.

"I think I'm gonna die. " she cries and I roll my eyes at her words.

"Why are you in here anyways? " I ask and she gasp holding her heart.

"Can't I not give my dear friend company? " she claims sarcastically.

"But seriously I'm here to give you company because I'm bored and my friends left me. " she fake cries at the end of her comment.

"So what ya doing? " she sits on the bench next to the bean bag.

"Your mom. " I chuckle but then I look to see she had a sad face. A tear ran down her face and my face immediately soften.

"Ivy I'm sorry. " I say concerned rushing to give her a hug. As her face was in my chest she started to laugh.

"I hate you. " I tell her and she just shakes her head.

"Seriously though what are you doing? " she asks.

"I'm training for a fight. " I tell her and she nods.

Excitement rises her face.

"No you may not come. " she pouts and stomps her feet.
