Valentine's Day part 2

Time skip to evening:

Eric (Knight) Pov

After buying tonight's dinner at her favorite fancy restaurant and preparing the rest of the house, I go to take a shower and get ready for the evening to take her for a romantic date. And hopefully to sneak in my marriage proposal to her. I have loved Y/n since the first time I bumped into her. She has this wonderful lavender and eucalyptus smell with her. Like she always does. With her essential oils and her pretty rocks with her no matter what so that way they can protect her, I love it. Washing up, I use her favorite shampoos and conditioners that she admires on me. I love her reaction when I have it on me, too. She is always just so adorable and glows when she smiles. I can't help but always think about her smile. I finish up as fast as I can with my shower, a trim of a shave, and put on my favorite dark blue suit and tie, watch, and grab my phone to see if she has texted me yet. She was just a few minutes off of work, so I knew that was my cue to begin to leave to pick my lovely girl up from work so she can get ready for our date. I grab the keys, and feed our cats, and walk out the door.

For Valentine's day to be on a Monday, I thought that I would have a real shitty day. I didn't. The people that I hated the most called in sick. They didn't really call in because they were sick. They called in sick because it's it's Valentine's Day, and they wanna try and party, set up for a party, the club, a hookup, something. Even see if they can get a girlfriend or a boyfriend. No offense, but not gonna happen. Some are too slutty, and the rest are a bag of dicks, so good luck. I grab my purse and put on some lipstick and fix my boobs so that way they feel a little more comfortable. "You're leaving so soon, Honey?" My work mom calls to me. "Yes, Ma'am I sure am. I have a date with my man tonight, so I am so excited." "Well be careful, and if he pulls anything, you know what to do, Sugar." She smiles and walks with me to the elevator. "You know I will, Maggie." She hugs me and presses the buttons for me on the elevator. "Have fun tonight, Mags" I had to hug her, because she is the sweetest lady at our work office.

I get in my car and begin to drive off to my apartment. I had to rush there and get ready to see Knight. I cannot wait for our date tonight. I make it to my apartment and rush for the elevator. I run in as fast as I can and push the button for my floor. the 7th floor. I rush to put my hair up out of my face, and try to breathe. I was so excited to go on my date with Knight. I make it to my floor and rush to my door as fast as I can. I run in the apartment and rush to his arms. "Hey baby girl." He chuckles and kisses me all over. "How was your day at work, Babe?" "It was really good." I set my shoes and my bag down and notice how sexy and amazing he looks in his dinner outfit for tonight. I look at him up and down biting my lip. You look amazing, Love." I smile.
