VIXEN SCOTT

"Please." "No." "Pleeaasee... " "No."

I pleaded with Cyrus. "Okay. Why? " I asked hoping that this time hell give me a valid reason. It's been a month already. He can't keep saying no.

"You've asked me that a million times, Vee. The answer won't change. " he said his eyes still fixated on the road. "But-" No. " "Please-" No. " "Cyruusss..." I whined.

I admit, I was being a little childish but come on, "it's just three people. They don't bite. " I kept trying. This time I will NOT take No for an answer. You are meeting my brothers whether you like it or not.

"I didn't say they bite. " His sarcasm drawing the last line. "You have no excuse this time. You're obligated to meet them. Cian is the he'd of the house so you just have to meet him. If you don't wanna meet Saviour, then you don't have to but Jordan! You just have to meet Jordan. "

As always, whenever I talked about Jordan, he had this slight change in his expression. It's almost unnoticeable that I can't begin to describe it. But it's nothing good. And I always see it.

"Why did you do that? " I asked tired of seeing that facial expression. He stopped the car in front of the house and sighed,

"fine. I'll do it. " he said as we got out of the car, him opening the door for me to get out.

CYRUS FOX
"Where's Saviour? " I heard vixen ask Cian as they cooked in the kitchen. Vixen can be quite loud sometimes. I stared at my phone checking for updates when I felt something tug at my T-shirt.

I looked to my side and notices Jordan was pointing to the TV. You're mute. Not lame, I felt like saying but I just picked up the remote and turned on the TV for him.

I hate kids. I moved to another couch when Jordan joined me once again and began to tug on my shirt once more.

What the fuck is your problem?

I began to get agitated. I looked at him and he kept pointing at the TV. "Look. It's already on. " I said flatly, trying to inform him that I'm no longer needed. But he just kept pointing in that direction.

Is it that even her brothers are crazy?

"He wants to play video games. " A voice came from the door as it closed. Funny how I didn't even hear it open.

I looked at the guy that just walked in. He has shoulder lengh hair and a head sock on, his eyes looking drained. Jordan ran to him and pointed at the TV.

"Sure thing, little brother. " The guy, who I'm assuming is Saviour, said as he made his way to the TV switching cables for Jordan to play games on his console.

"You must be the Cyrus I keep hearing about." He said as he continued to serve up Jordan's PS4.

And you must be feeling your shit right now.

"You must be Saviour. " I stated as he finished up. He just smirked as he got up. He Scruffled Jordan's hair as he handed Jordan a controller. "Yeah." He said as he joined me on the couch.

"Food's ready! " Vixen yelled out from the dining room and Jordan paused his game to run towards the dining table. Saviour and I got up at the same time and joined the others at that table and began to eat... ...

"... It's true! " Vixen exclaimed, trying to catch her breath as we all continued to laugh, "You should've seen the look on your face." She laughed as she told the story that happened only a week ago.

"I had to drive for 25 miles with a face full of powder 'til we found somewhere to clean up. I smiled.

" There was no bathroom? " Saviour asked, a smile plastered ok his face. "Nope." Vee and I answered in unison.
"What kind of gas station doesn't have a restroom? " Cian asked curiously, making Vixen laugh even more. "Crazy, I know. " she stated sighing I'm relief, ending her laughter. Last time I'LL ever drive out on a trip with Vixen.
Malverick had me strike a deal with some men out of town. It was share trying to come up with excuses everytime I tried to take a call or leave Vixen for Malverick.

I was definitely right about Vixen being stubborn.

"So what do you do for a living? You did say you love alone, didn't you." Cian asked me, making me tense up a bit. Wouldn't YOU like to know.

"I'm a business man. I buy and sell goods on trade." I said not wanting to say anything else about my occupation.

"Oh really? What products? " Cian asked, more serious than before

"I'd rather not say. " I answered taking another bite of  my food.

"Cosmetics." Vixen stated, making saviour choke on a laugh He was clearly holding in. I forgot that Vixen asked a similar question on the trip.

"I see. " Cian said, not wanting to ask anymore questions. Thankfully...

Dinner was done and I helped Vixen clear the table. "Don't worry about Cian. " She said snapping me out of my thoughts. I just smirked, "Who said I'm worried? " "The look on your face. " She said, placing another set of dishes in the dishwasher.

Cian is not what I'm worried about.

I learned on the wall. "It's the look you get when you're worried about me. " she finished, smiling like she was stating facts. I was actually taken aback that she noticed that. Which made me wonder what else she's noticed about me.

She walked towards me, put her arms over my shoulders and kissed me. "So don't worry 'kay? " I smiled just as Saviour walked in,

"Okay, Okay. Get a room a'ight? " He said making Vixen shift from my embrace. Ni sooner did she do so than I got a text;

'Abandoned factory building. '
'West coast. One hour. '
'$20 000 000.'

"Who's that? " Vixen asked, trying to peer over my phone. I put it in my back pocket, "it's my Aunt. I have to go. " I lied as I began to walk out if the kitchen.

"Let me see you out. " Saviour said as he escorted me to the door. "Bye." I said as I began to walk of the porch.

"Wait. " Saviour said stopping me in my tracks.

He closes the door and joined me off the porch. "I know you're just Vee's 'Prescription' but that doesn't mean you can ever hurt her. So be careful of what you say or do to her, you hear me? " He stated flatly, thinking that he can actually threaten me. I just smirked.

You think you can threaten me? Hm, cute.

"Relax. She's in good hands. " I said, making my way to my car. "Hope so. " he said as he entered the house. I just watched and smirked, receiving another text from Malverick.

'Who's pretty boy? '

I looked around, seeing no one in sight.

A month and he's already keeping tabs on me. Great. Just. Great.
