VIXEN SCOTT

I Don't like this Guy.

I decided on the way back home.

I like his car though.

I smiled to myself as I looked out of his Jeep.

Everything looks so black.

All the windows were tinted.

Why are the windows tinted?

"What are you thinking about? " Cyrus asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Huh?" I asked, not sure if I heard him right."What's on your mind? " "You." I answered honestly. He just smirked and we continued to drive in silence.

"This is it. " I said as he stopped in front of my house. I wanted to get out of the car but the door locked. What's his problem? He opened my door for me.

Uhm, I'm pretty sure I'm not disabled, I wanted to say.

Manners, Vee, Manners.

"Thank you. " I said as I got out of the car. I'm sure he noticed the fact that I didn't like that he opened the door for me, 'cause he began to smirked as I got out.

He closed the door and walked me to my porch. "I don't kiss on a first date." I said flatly wanting to get this day over with already.

"This IS your first date. " he said with a smirk, making me blush a little. Me? Blush? I smiled at myself.

He leaned in making me flinch, then he moved his head closer to my ear. "Relax." He whispered, giving me a peck on my cheek, "I'm your boyfriend, remember? " he finished, regaining his original position, his 6'2 body towering over my 5'4.

For some reason, his voice Sent shivers down my spine. He sounded threatening even though he said that in a subtle voice.

You made the right decision.

I just stood there and stared at him. " Good night. " I finally let out as I entered the house, closing the door behind me not waiting for him to respond.

He sounds dangerous.

CYRUS FOX

I Parked the car in front of the motel and headed towards my room. I just took a shower, got dressed and layed in my bed staring at the ceiling. I can make this work, I reminded myself...

I was awoken by the sound of my ringtone. I answered my phone, "what do you want at two in the morning? " I questioned seriously .

"I heard you were back in California. I just wanted to check on you. " I heard Malverick say in a cheeky voice. "I'll ask you once again, " I sat up now, "what do you want, Malverick? " I finished, the mere sound of his voice agitating me.

"Come on, Cyrus. Is that really a way to talk to your broth-" We're not brothers. Especially not after what you did. " I answered flatly. "Come on, past issues. It's just the business after all. "

"You selling me out is NOT the business. " I started to get angry.

"Here's the deal. Port way, 616 street, Old maple building. I'll send you the money for the 25 bags. So, are you back in the ring? " he said ignoring everything I said.

"Not a chance, Malverick. " I said about to hang up. "Anyway, I guess I can't force you back into this. Besides, I'm sure you don't mind being I'm another ring. Except that ring is a small room. With a bunk bed. Behind bar-" Fine. " I agreed, hating that he had the upper hand. For now.

"Wednesday! 10PM! Gather your men and tell them not to be late. " he exclaimed as he hang up.

That slimy son of a bitch.

I just stared at the ceiling, my thoughts keeping me awake till morning.

Back to being the Sacramento ring leader.
