VIXEN SCOTT
It was cold here. I didn't like it. I was strapped to a wooden chair with thick ropes, my hands behind the back of the chair, all tied up. My legs were tied up as well, and the knots arw so tight that it felt like the ropes would cut through my skin.My Everywhere hurt. The room was so small. And dark. And stuffy. Why me? My stomach began to growl. Great, now I'm hungry. There was no one in the room with me. Everyone was outside. The room had a small window the size of a shoe box with bars as thick as the legs of this chair.
There were only two bars on said window. There was no escaping this place. Suddenly, the door opened and a young masculine male entered the room.
"Rise and shine, sweetheart." He smirked as he stooped down to my level. It didn't take long for me to recognize him. He was the man I met behind the mall. "Did you miss me?" He removed the cloth that was in my mouth. I smiled weakly, "Trust me. You don't wanna. Know the answer to. That question." I managed to let out weakly and before I knew it, I felt a sharp pain on my left cheek.
"Ouch." "You need to behave yourself, now. You don't wanna die, do you?"
Tears were rolling down my cheeks but I still faced him once again, "I watch a tonne of movies. If you really wanted me dead, you would've killed me a long time ago. All you need me for is to lore Cyrus back." I smiled again, "In fact, you neee-" Before I could finish mocking the man who was here hours earlier, I received another slap to the same cheek. The impact causing a couple more tears to fall. I felt blood run down from my nose.
"Still missing your boyfriend I see." He mocked, the pushes a plate of bread in front of me, "Eat."
So... Hungry...
What if it's poisoned?
Nah.
But...I had no time to think about this. My stomach seemed to already start eating itself up. Or at least it felt like it. Inky God knows how long I'd been here. I gave him a sideways look and looked at him like he was stupid, "And I'm gonna eat how exactly?"
He smirked, "They don't call me Heartless for nothing, sweetheart." He said as he got up to leave. "Come on, Sedrick." He finished as he walked out and talked to the other guy by the door.
Sedrick just sighed as he walked towards me taking them plate of food in his hands and sat on the stool in front of me. "Eat up." He said taking the bread roll in his hand to feed me.
I took a bite of the bread and used what was left of my energy to chew and swallow. I gave Sedrick a weak smile. "Why are you smiling? That's all you've been doing since you got here."
"Because that's all I ever do." I said taking another bite of he bread. He lifted the glass of water and tilted it towards my lips so that I could drink.
He nodded in disbelief, giving me a small smirk as he put the glass down. Half of the water was already gone.
"Can I ask you a question?" I asked despite knowing that I had wayyy more than one question. "You can't tell me you inky have one question?" He asked as if reading my mind. I took another bite of the bread and could slowly feel my energy coming back.
"Do you really want me to ask all of them?"He just smirked, "Sure. Why not." I drank some more water and took the final bite of my bread.
"How old are you?" He looked really young. He smiled this time, "When I gave you permission to ask questions, I didn't think you meant about me." His facial expression changed, looking blank, "That's confidential information."
"Just answer the question." I said as I finished the bread. "Eighteen." I wasn't surprised honestly. He does look pretty young.
"What do you men do here exactly?"
He paused for a bit as he put the plate down. "I might as well tell you. Malverick might kill you, anyway if your little boyfriend doesn't show up. Drugs. Amongst other things."
Drugs?
"As in dealing?"
"What else?""So, that's why you want.. Cyrus?"
I was in disbelief. Cyrus...is a drug dealer? "I'm gonna guess that he didn't tell you." He said matter of factly, "Cyrus is actually the best we had. He brings in good money. That's why he's the most wanted drug Lord.I couldn't believe my ears. I don't know if Sedrick could tell that I was in shock, but brought the glass up to my lips once again so that I could drink what was left of the water.
Screw being a drug dealer. He's a fucking DRUG LORD!
" I've fed you with more than what I should have." He said flatly as he got up, taking the plate and glass with him, "I should have left with Sean after all." He finished as he left the room, closing up the only source of light I had at the moment, leaving me dumbfounded in disbelief.
I thought about everything we did together. The trips. They were all for... Drugs? I smiled a little. It IS kinda cool. I'm dating a drug Lord.
My smile faded when I remembered the last conversation we had. 'I will never love you..' His words echoed through my head.
Correction. I WAS dating a drug Lord.
Before I knew it, tears began to roll down my cheeks. The worst part is, I can't even wipe them away.
Fuck you, Cyrus Fox. Why did you EVER come into my life in the first place.
I screamed at the top of my lungs even though I knew no one could hear me. I screamed so much I thought my throat would rip out.
I literally hurt everywhere.
Especially in my heart...
