VIXEN SCOTT
"We're dying out here. " I heard Cyrus say as one watched him play with Terry from upstairs. Pretty soon, Jordan was rushing down for Terry.

"Hi." He greeted as he hugged him. "Hey sport. " Terry greeted, pausing his game, Cyrus still playing, "want some breakfast? " Terry asked Jordan and he nodded.

"Okay. lets go. " They got up and went to the kitchen.

I sat next to Cyrus, picked up the controller and began to play for Terry. In just a matter of minutes, I had 13 kills I won the game for us.

Cyrus put down his controller in shock and just stared at me. "Where the hell did you learn how to play like that? " he smirked, dumbfounded. "I have three brothers. " I said in an 'isn't that obvious' tone, smiling as I lay my head on his laps, making him tense a bit.

"How are you not used to me yet? " I asked curiously, noticing how tense he gets whenever I get close to him.

"Because you're always full of surprises. "

"Do you have any plans today? "

He paused to think, "hmmm.. No. "
"Great. Let's go see a movie. "
"Why don't we watch one here? " he asked, obviously not wanting to go out.
"Because I wanna go out. " I whined. Then he sighed, "fine."

Yessss.

"Terry! Can you watch Jordan?! " I asked Terry from the living room. "Of course! " he replied, so I got up and led the way to his car.

"Oh! Please make sure he-" yeah yeah, I'll make sure he does his homework. "
Terry finished as I smiled and closed the door behind us.

CYRUS FOX
Vixen and I spent the whole day together. "How about this one. " she said showing me a picture of a dagger made of light. "For the last time, Vee,you're not getting a tattoo. " I emphasised as I took a sip of my smoothie.

We were on the top floor balcony of a certain restaurant. There was no way I was going to let her get a tattoo when CIAN's her older brother.

She just sighed and looked at the night sky to her right. "What about that? " she asked pointing to where the moon was currently rising from. I looked to my left and noticed that it's a full moon tonight.

It is beautiful. But not on her body.

"It reminds me of the ocean by Coney Island. " she said with a small smile as she faced away from the moon and moved her attention to her empty plate. It was full ten minutes ago. "Which reminds me of my mum. " she finished as she began to play with the straw of her smoothie.

"Where is she? " I asked curiously. She'd always mention how her parents had multiple fall outs from time time and how her brothers were there to comfort her so I assumed her mum just moved away and eventually so did their father.

For some reason, I wanted to know more about Vixen. She intrigued me.

The look ok her face every time she talked about her parents made me feel angry, somehow. I really didn't like that look. And I don't know why. I want to get rid of that look.

"She's dead." She finally answered after a lengthy silence, "My dad killed her. I was a bit too young to remember how it all started but dad would beat up mum as much as I can remember. "

She paused to breathe, letting go of her straw and putting both her hands on the table as she did so.  She faced the moon once again,

" most times, Cian would take Saviour to the beach at Coney Island. "She began to play with her straw as she brought her attention back to her plate,

"It went on like that 'till I was twelve. " she smiled, "eventually my dad was found guilty of the death of Hannah Smith. " she fought back a laugh as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"It really isn't funny but I can't help but laugh. " she smiled, this time looking directly at me, then back down to her plate.

"Jordan wasn't even two yet. Yet he didn't say a single word. Doctors told us that he's mute. But of course eventually he started talking from time to time. So they were wrong, sorta. 3 months after mum died, Cian started taking saviour and I for therapy. They said I need mental help."

Honestly, nothing had ever sounded just as sad as what she went through.

"But I've had a psychiatrist since... Ever. " she smiled. I just held her hand and told her that it's okay. Only because I didn't know what else to say.
She's kinda insane after all.

"How about you? " she asked smiling, "where are your parents? " I tensed up a little. I didn't expect that question.

"I never knew my mother. " I answered honestly.

"What about your dad? "

I took a deep breath, "he was murdered when I was sixteen. " I said truthfully.

It's hard to lie to someone like Vixen. Even thought it's for her own good.

She didn't ask anymore questions and there was an awkward silence for a while 'till we finished our smoothies. "Why don't we get out of here? " I asked as I stood, offering my jacket to her knowing that it's getting cold.

"Thanks." She said, talking the jacket then covered her shoulders with it and we made our way out of the restaurant then to the car.

I know chivalry is dead but, she was cold...
