"Sonia, call lagao Sarim ko aaya kyun nahi ab tak?" Khaani's father, Salman says. "Ji Salman Khaani usse calls kar rahi hai lekin woh uthaa nahi raha shayad doston ke saath hoga." Sonia, Khaani's mother responds. "Woh toh keh raha tha seedha ghar aaunga. Chalo koi baat nahi intezaar kar lete hain bhai. Aakhir iklauta beta hai itna toh banta hai." •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Sitara Shah, Mir Hadi's mom comes back home to find her son leaving the house with his best friend Ali.

"Beta khana toh khaake jao." "Nai mom kuchh zaroori kaam hai." Hadi says in hurry and gets in the car with Ali and they drive off. "Yaar Ali, ab jaldi bataa kya baat hui hai?" "Pehle tu bataa Hadi, college mein kya scene karke ayaa hai tu." "Kuchh bhi toh nahi." Hadi says unknowingly.
Ali takes out his phone and shows him the video that someone uploaded anonymously online and it was going viral. Hadi snatches the phone to take a closer look. It's a video of him fighting with that guy who wanted Hadi to move his car.
"Ab bataa yeh kuchh nahi hai? Tumne 4 goliaa maari hai tum keh rahe ho ke kuchh nahi hua?" Ali says, shouting.
Hadi laughs in Ali's face. "Maanaa ke mere dimag ka screw dheela ho jataa hai gusse mein. Lekin Ali main itna bhi pagal nahi hun ke election ke waqt kisi ki jaan le loon." "Hadi tumne shots fire kiye hain, woh bhi 1 nahi 4." "Toh? Abey maine uspe nahi kiye fire, zameen par kiye the usse daraane ke liye. Ab ye video banane vala bhi koi pagal hi lagta hai, jisne puri video hi nahi banayi. Usko goli lagni toh kyaa koi goli usse chhoo kar bhi nahi gayi." Hadi laughs again. "Kya? Tu jaanta hai iska matlab kya hai?" Ali says in suprise. "Matlab?" "Matlab tumhare dad ki reputation par bahot asar padega. Hamein is bande ko dhoond kar uska bayaan lena hoga Hadi, varna Mir Shah is baar iski wajah se election haar sakte hain. Aaawam toh yehi sochegi ke Mir Shah ka beta ek qaatil hai." "Yaar yeh toh maine sochaa hi nahi. Chal u-turn maar college mein jaa kar check karte hain ke kaun tha fir uske ghar jayenge."
It's late evening when they arrive at the college again. There's an elderly man there as well in the principal's office. Ali and Hadi also wait for the principal to come. Principal comes into the office and before Hadi could say something, the elderly man starts speaking. "Sir, sir mera betaa college se ghar nahi aaya hai. Aur- aur uski gaadi bhi abhi tak yahin parking mein khadi hai. Aap kuchh kijiye please." Hadi and Ali look at each other, and think it might be the same guy's father. "Salman saab aap baithiye paani peeyein. Hum cameras check karenge dekhne ke liye ke kya hua. Naam kya bataya apne student ka?" "Sarim. Sarim Ali Khan." "Okay aap bahir jake bethe wait karein main aapko bulataa hun."
Salman goes outside, sobbing. "Ji chhote Mir. Batayein main aapki kya khidmat kar sakta hun." "Yeh jo abhi gaye unke bete ki info chahiye." "Ji. Lekin kyun?" "Maine kahaa na-" Hadi turns red in anger and Ali immediately calms him down. "Uhh- Ahmed Saab, dost hai woh hamara, hamein fikr ho rahi hai uski. Aur woh cctv footage bhi chahiye hogi hamein, woh kya hai na hamare bande sab kuchh achhe se check karenge ke kya hua." "Lekin Ali, main aise nahi de-" Principal says and stops immediately as he sees Mir Hadi take out the gun and put it on the table. He looks at the principal with an anger that knows no limits. "Achha, achha main deta hun footage." Principal says and starts going through his computer.
Mir Hadi takes the gun in his hand, goes up to the principal's chair and whispers, "Iski copy agar kahin aur se mili toh accha nahi hoga Principal Saab." "Ji-ji."
