"I'm so glad you're alright. The lamp trapped me and malfunctioned, it tends to attack anyone near when that happens. Thankfully I managed to stop it before you were killed." Tsuru handed the lamp to the girl, even giving her a hug, meaning to seem as innocent and caring as possible.
Even if it went against all her personality she had to make it seem like she cared.
"Oh." Was all that came out of Evira's mouth being so confused at her words. But she gullible and fell for her words. However, it wasn't going to be so easy to fool Allon, his face full of rage unbelieving of her words.
"Liar!" Allon screamed a burning fury in his eyes calling her out, "That doesn't even make sense. How could we possibly believe you; we barely know you. I saw you hiding in the corner! You caused the first accident and all the others!"
"It makes sense to me, I've dealt with it for years. As to me hiding is ridiculous, why would I ever!" Tsuru crosses her hands, "You mortals just don't understand. It is far from your understanding." She hissed the words out making things up as she went.
Might be an excuse she did often, but one that hadn't ever backfired, it was clear Allon wouldn't be falling for any tricks though. For whatever he knew gave him the advantage over her attempts.
"Then why does the lamp disappear every time!?" He was closer now his hand still pointing at her, "both in Evira's room and in the forest. Explain!" He continued looking over her with desperation, trying to prove himself.
Tsuru didn't get the chance to think up an explanation just repeating what she said before, "As I already mentioned you wouldn't understand." She crossed her arms looming over him, "Besides what reasons would I have to kill my master, because that's clearly what you're insinuating."
Before their little accusations continued Caron called catching all their attention, "Evira, Allon where did you go!?" The house was a mess and she was screaming from her room.
"Let's talk this out later. I don't want mom to worry." Evira started walking back inside not noticing the tension between the two, "I wish everything in the house back to normal first."
Tsuru did as told, snapping her fingers seeing as Evira walked back but Allon stayed looking at her, his eyes burning with resentment. She turned on her spot to leave him in his own anger before he spoke catching her attention, "How long will your lies last?"
His voice was like a distant whisper barely audible but still there, still existent, "I won't make the same mistake twice. You aren't getting away this time Tsuru, I swear it. You've killed enough..." He clutched his hand walking past her, and suddenly things clicked into place.
Tsuru's memories seemed to brighten back up, reminding her exactly of who he was. Watching him walk ahead turning his back to her.
Speaking up for him to hear, "I'm a bitter person Allon, but you... you make me seem so happy. Who would have thought you a genie, to care about people. It's a stupid mistake."
It had been years since she'd seen him, but things wouldn't change. She disliked him, he hated her, and as genies they'd see each other every few hundred years or less.
You were bound to bump into another, and the past they held in common, was one painted in blood. Her masters led her down that road, and his freedom made him suffer for her imprisonment.
Tsuru disappeared into smoke, she had to think up another plan. One that wouldn't fail, considering Allon knew her plans. She laid in the lamp quiet for most that was left of the night, waiting on her opportunity to come.
