Tsuru answered by snapping her fingers, and instantly a phone appeared on the table. Their question was answered and instantly Keme walked back, and grabbed the lamp from Akeem's hands.

"We've got the powers, but there's no real facts saying we just have a certain amount of time with it..." Keme paused, he couldn't stay still as he walked back and forth in the room, "We could die at any moment..."

"Then let's use it while we still can." She declared, "We can stop the old man from getting all the lamps in one place, we can set the people free. You've got what you wanted as well, you can stay with us here..."

Akeem didn't understand what they were talking about, "Tsuru this sounds dangerous. Let's just go home... where it's safe."

She looked at him and snapped her fingers, making him fall to the ground unconscious, "Just think about it Keme, we can be happy. We can have anything we want, nothing or no one can stop us."

He snapped at her seeing what she did to Akeem, "Shut up! Just be quiet... So let's say you stop the generation, what then? What do we do with all the lamps? We can't break them, we can't hide them, they'll eventually be found."

"But we won't have to live with them around at least." Tsuru took a deep breath, "They won't change our reality, we can live any way we please."

Tsuru wanted him to see things her way, to side with her. But he didn't see things that way, he looked at her, and he saw her deranged, "I made a mistake when I kept looking for you... I should have just left you to deal with your mess alone. I'd still be alive, and you'd probably gotten yourself killed... who knows how many you'd taken down with you. But I'd be alive, I'd be living my best life, and you wouldn't be in the picture."

He stepped away, opened the door and didn't look at her as he closed it leaving her behind. Everyone has regrets in life, she regretted ever following her impulse and he regretted ever allying himself with her.

Tsuru walked out after him, but he was gone. Everywhere she looked he wasn't there, going back in the house she looked at Akeem on the ground getting down to help him up. She sat him down on the chair and took a seat across from him. Watching as he slept, she had her mind set on stopping the generation, and that's exactly what she'd do.

She sealed all the doors and windows, no way to get in or out after she'd left.

Unbothered with covering her features she marched down the road, throwing her veil aside. She knew where the old man had taken the lamps, she could recognize the roads like she'd seen them just seconds ago.

The sun was rising and the road was becoming clear again, standing before the door she opened it. Her eyes landed on the mass of already brought lamps, the place was overflowing, and the man was nowhere in sight.

She looked at the lamps and made a wish of her own, snapping her fingers and setting them all out. The now empty lamps lay across the room.

The door opened and the old man walked in with a bag having more genies in them. He looked calm even after noticing her, taking his time and setting the lamps aside as he sat down.

Looked up at her and asked, "If you're looking to rob an old man, by all means go ahead."

"I'm not looking to rob anyone, I'm here to stop you from bringing the next generation." Her voice was clear and she stood her ground.

The old man laughed, "So you were the leftovers of this generation, woke up back in the past after whoever it was started getting the new one. And what will you do, take the lamps and set everyone free?"

"I already did, the only ones left are the ones you just brought-"

Hearing that he stopped her, "How? I doubt you had time to go one by one wishing them free."

Tsuru sighed, "I have the wishes needed, I just made it happen."

He laughed, "And you'll set these out as well, and then what? You can't just wish these lamps away, I've tried."

She looked confused, he'd tried? If that was the case then why did he still get a new generation instead of hiding them?

Seeing the look on her face he went on, "You really think you're the first one to try and change the world... sure you've got the powers of a genie somehow, but you're an immortal now. Trapped to live forever, sure you could drag the people you know with you but they might hate you for it?" The old man smiled amusingly, "They might get tired of living forever and you'll have to let them go, and then you'll be alone. You've doomed yourself, and eventually nothing matters."

Tsuru glared, "I'll rid the world of genies! And I'll live my one life as I please, I'll die the day I decide to die!"

He looked straight at her eyes, "Then wish these lamps away, go ahead and try."

She snapped her fingers but they were still there, words appearing in front of her, 'that's a no' it spelled. It flashed like the numbers used to do when she failed to kill her masters.

The man laughed, "Come on, they're still here."

"It... it doesn't work." She admitted.

He nodded and grabbed one of the empty lamps, "I know..."

He threw the lamp towards her, having her catch it, "Why did you throw this?"

"Because I want you to see where you used to be. Maybe it wasn't that one exactly, but you were in one. Now look at you having the powers and the freedom, something they all might never have." He walked towards her, "You know I used to pick the most miserable people to shove them into lamps... but I stopped caring. Because I'm miserable, so everyone I look at, should feel just like me. It's not their fault, I know that but I don't care. And neither will you in the long run."

He dumped the lamps he'd just brought out and grabbed the ones that were now empty again, "Now you can take a few centuries to feel like me, or you can help me get these filled up."

Still in place she looked down at her legs, they were there, and there wasn't any smoke. She was free and she had the possibility of being whatever she wanted. Looking at the lamps she reminded herself of her own miserable years in them.

She didn't have to be miserable this time, she had the power to crush down empires, to change the face of the earth.

She spotted a satchel hanging in the wall, she knew what he spoke of. And hated living for years, all because she wanted an unachievable revenge.

But now she technically took it, Keir's lamp was empty and right in front of her, Allon's was there and empty as well. They could live with their families and she could live hers.

Grabbing the satchel she put it on, shoving the empty lamps into her pocket, why bother stopping what couldn't ever be stopped? At least she could keep the people she cared about out of this.

Why care... Why try and change the unavoidable? Why not just keep the ones she loved out of it...
