Allon was restless that night trying to make up a plan of how to deal with Tsuru. How to make sure that no matter what she said, Evira wouldn't believe her, but there really wasn't anything he could do. Her words couldn't be lies, all he could hope to do was convince Evira it was best to get rid of Tsuru. But who would let go of such power?

By the time morning came Tsuru was still smiling wickedly and Evira was silently still sleeping.

A soft knock coming from the door followed by Allon's voice, "Tsuru, I know you're awake and we need to talk before Evira is too."

She poked her head out startling him almost causing him to fall backwards. She grasped his arm pulling him back to balance and leaving Evira's room. Keeping an eye on the stairs for Caron she expected Allon to be quick.

She looked down at him,"So, what is it?"

"I'm in... Whatever your plan is I'm in. I only ask that you find a way to let her live... yes, I know. Nearly impossible, but please, she's like family." He begged about to go on his knees and continue.

"I'm not a bad person... I'll find a way, maybe."

With that said the days passed and Tsuru struggled to be done with Evira and continue her plans. Constantly finding something or someone in the way every time Evira decided they should go out. Their so-called summer time slowly coming to an end but without Evira's end anywhere in sight.

Allon constantly said he was trying his best to get the lamp but she knew he was hesitant.

And to make things difficult Evira's curiosity didn't quite decimate through that time. Having her constantly make questions and Tsuru having no choice but to answer them truthfully.

The dreaded question having finally found it's way into her mouth, "Do you want to be different, Tsuru?"

"In all honesty, yes." Tsuru didn't even bother trying to hold back her reality by now. It had been a while since she'd stopped caring about the questions, crossing her arms and laying on the bed.

Evira hummed and made a different question, "Do you wish to be mortal?"

There was a short silence before she answered, "...yes..."

"Why?" Evira continued digging deep into the question sitting besides Tsuru.

"Because I miss being one..." As those words left her mouth tears followed, Tsuru growled at herself. Turning away to wipe her tears.

It wasn't the same thinking it every day than admitting it out loud, it felt bad to say it for everyone to hear. She had kept her desires to herself and refused to tell anyone.

For the first time since she had become a genie one of her master's seemed too curious. And actually caring, but not in the way she would enjoy, she didn't want anyone's pity. Either way that didn't mean her plans had changed in fact now more than ever she would do her best to accomplish them.

"What's so good about being a mortal?" Evira questioned wanting to know exactly what she missed. What was so precious about it to her? Not taking notice of the tears that streamed down the genie's face.

"You get to have a family... People love you for you... Not because of what you can grant or give. And you get to die... you don't have to see those around you die over and over again. You rest in peace," Tsuru started grinding her teeth, "Now stop asking questions."

Evira didn't listen as she asked one final question, "Did you ever fall in love?" Evira leaned in wanting to hear all about it if she had.

"Love's a fool's dream." Tsuru spoke abruptly before she had to answer truthfully, "I did." She claimed as those words reminded her of the truth about love. The truth she feared would be the end of her.

Something that through the years had devoured her... that damned man...

Evira smiled in contempt at her words. She had always enjoyed a sad love story like the one in movies and books. And she coulndt see this was the reality. And maybe Tsuru had one that was far too deep to ask about.

She felt like crushing Evira yet thank her at the same time, she was glad to get things off her chest in a way. But she crossed the line. She was way too meddlesome and might find out about her true intentions of killing her at this point. So, she had to try and get out of this situation soon.

She remembered Evira's question. When she heard it was like traveling to the past in the worst way possible. Back when she believed love was something special...

When she felt that love made her mortal again even while still in chains. Reminding herself that one master that melted her heart, that told her all those sweet words. But love for a genie and a mortal is a fool's dream. Because that love blinded her to the point where she granted him almost perfect immortality.

Almost perfect because he still could die, only by her hand. She just had to find him. Even killing him with her bare hands if she had to, all to bring an end to her biggest regret.

Evira dropped the subject afterwards, seeing how Tsuru ooked away, her eyes empty. Those bright orange eyes, dimming even. Turning her back to her Evira left the room.

In the same time Tsuru accidentally made herself to Allon's room, not noticing his eyes on her until he spoke up, "What's with you?" he leaned forward, "Someone not accept your friend request?"

She looked at him weirdly raising a brow, "Excuse me?"

"Forget it."

Regrets are things of the past, this is the present and the past should be left forgotten

"Help, someone help me!" Tsuru yelled from inside the lamp.

She had been trapped inside for hours as countless people passed by not even noticing her. It was like the lamp wasn't even visible to them. Her spirits high she hadn't given up hope as she constantly yelled believing someone would eventually listen.

She looked through the hole noticing an old man heading her way, "Help... Please!"

The man stopped right in front of the lamp bringing hope into her heart. He grabbed it and put it in his stash and while he placed it the sound of metal clashing was evident. Tsuru looked out through the hole once more but could see anything. After a short period of time the man opened the stash placing what seemed to be another lamp on top of Tsuru.
