Allon crumbled his fist and looked over at her bed. Tsuru was lying there with her eyes closed and snoring softly. Getting up leaving the room as quietly as he could.
He dialed Keme and waited for him to pick up the call. Falling into voicemail he left his message, "Hey, so Tsuru is asleep, tomorrow's route is another fancy tourist attraction... just let me know when you'll be here. She said that in two days, but I have the feeling you could be here by tomorrow."
Hanging up he looked at their room door. Not feeling like sleeping he walked aimlessly through the hotel, a buggy feeling on the back of his head throughout the night.
Tsuru was remembering everything... everything she had previously forgotten, that is, how many people she had hurt. How many people had she killed be it on accident or on purpose.
Hearing his phone ring he picked up the call, "Keme?"
"Yeah, I got your message. Guess you're not all wrong, I'm at the airport, had a private flight. Don't tell her, unless it's an emergency just do not let her know I have arrived." Keme informed while a dragging sound was in the background.
"Why would you say that? What's the point of all this?"
"I just don't want to deal with all her issues and drama yet... I'll be there in two days, just take it easy. Take her through the places we've arranged and keep her company. I've got to go, I have things to deal with... also expect an actual call from Rubio, she's going to check in with Tsuru's state." Keme hung up, leaving Allon on his own once more to deal with Tsuru.
He groaned internally as he walked back to the room, keeping it as quiet as possible when he opened the door. However his attempts were in vain when he noticed Tsuru sitting up at the bed.
She met his gaze, her eyes having bags under them,"Can't sleep or just don't want to?"
"Can't, You?"
"I don't want to. I have so many things in my mind I just can't sleep the whole night. You know I ended up with a traveler after the kid died. Someone who traveled through Arabia, leaving his mark with the wishes he made... he lost me after an unwanted trade occurred. Thieves on every corner and no time to make a wish, he died there and then." Her hand brushed up against her hair.
Looking at him with her head leaned against the bed she continued, "From thief to thief I went for hundreds of years, some of them were better and more skilled than others. And some where incompetent, until I landed on the hands of somewhat better people."
"Any good ones? Had to have been some better than others."
Tsuru smiled sheepishly, "Sure, of course there was. What do you want to hear? How I took part in murder or how I gave the thieves god like powers. They said I want to control the weather, then of course. Or make me invincible, then so be it." She closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose, "Innocent people paid the price of their greed, but in time everyone forgets... everyone but me."
Allon clicked his tongue, "Time is a curse and no one can stop it. But we don't deal with that, time doesn't really mean anything to us Tsuru. You've killed once you've killed a thousand times. Just have all the fun you've missed now... it's better than never."
"I can try... I'll try. Let's not go to tomorrow's place... let's stay here, I don't want to remember anyone." She pressed her legs against her chest, hugging them, "We can go in the pool or just stay in here all day..."
"We could watch a movie." He suggested, sitting at the corner of her bed, "Or take a walk, we don't need to go anywhere. If Keme asks, we say we changed plans."
Tsuru smiled, "I'd like that. Frankly any of them sound better than a whole day of driving again."
"Well..." he grabbed the remote, turning on the tv, "Might as well start now."
Laughing she patted the spot beside her for him to sit. Both of them leaning back and taking things pleasantly, watching whatever might catch their attention.
Having small talk until the sun peeked through the wide windows. Allon sighed and pointed at the bathroom, "Go change, I'm in the mood for a walk."
Tsuru didn't put up a fight and dug through her bag to get a pair of clothes. Walking in the bathroom he took the chance to change real quick, checking his phone a second.
A message from hours ago, "I've got a room at the hotel."
Leaving it unanswered he shoved it in his pocket, and waited for her. Pulling his hair back to pin it there out of his way.
"Maybe we should call Keme and tell him we'll stay here." Tsuru indicated, feeling the need to just let him know.
Allon shrugged and walked in the bathroom, "Call him if you want."
Tsuru took the initiative and texted him quickly before getting out the room and waiting out for Allon. Seeing him come out soon after she explained she'd already texted the man.
"It's weird to know you've learned to use a phone."
Tsuru rolled her eyes, "You didn't expect me to never learn... did you?"
He chuckled and looked away, "I don't know maybe... you are kinda new to everything."
"Fine, sure whatever. Where are we going?"
Allon hummed and put a hand up to his chin, "Hm, well we could always check the shops. Buy anything you like."
She shrugged and followed him around, taking notice of the people. Soon enough Allon snapped his fingers at her, pulling her into a small shop.
Spending time through various shops they eventually ended up outside the hotel. Jiggling a key chain Allon walked up behind her, "Want it?"
"No, it's ugly." She set it aside, and looked out the doors, they had made it so far from the hotel just by walking into stores, "Want to do something else?"
"Like?"
"I don't know, we can go back to the hotel and go in the pools... just throwing it out there." Pacing through the streets Allon handed her a bag, "And what's this?"
"A dagger." He said, as she unpacked the dagger seeing as it was curved otherwise known as a khanjar.
Tsuru examined both sides, "When did you get it? I never noticed you buying it."
He brought a hand to his face signaling her to be quiet, "Just accept the gift."
Tsuru smiled and placed the dagger back in the bag. Watching Allon walk ahead of her before stopping all of a sudden. His expression sour as he watched someone up ahead.
She followed his gaze, landing on the man she hated the most. Keir was there, walking around unaware of them.
