A few more weeks pass by, only one communication from Nat had come through, letting us know that she has gained their trust and was close to finding out what the tech was. We had a message appear in the living room from Thor, just telling us they were having to defend villages and help clean up the aftermath. So far everyone was still safe but I couldn't help but wonder for how long.

I hadn't really spent much time alone with Bucky, I think he had begun to understand that we couldn't be anything more than friends, it was nice though, going back to our playful banter without all the tension surrounding us.

It's a Friday night and I'm helping Tony with his tie. He's got some elaborate date planned out for Pepper so he's going to be gone for the weekend.

"So just make sure if you need anything you call me ok? Even if you're just bored. Actually probably not for that reason, Pepper would probably kill me" He rambles on.

I laugh at him I dust off his shoulders. "Come on pops, I'll be fine. Go and have a good weekend with your lady. I'll be here. We all will."

He nods excitedly and kisses my head before dashing out of his room. I follow behind him smiling at his back. His posture relaxes as he gets closer to the living room. He waves bye to Steve and Bucky before walking out. I plonk yourself down on his chair with a huff.

"So what we watching tonight boys?" I ask them, Bucky looks over to me but Steve seems to be absorbed into the TV.

"Steve wanted to watch some cowboy film" He scrunches his face up and I copy the motion.

"Yeah, that's a no from me." I get back up and go to the kitchen, getting myself some water.

I walk back through and pass behind them both. "I'm going to watch something in my room. Preferably with less cowboys."

"Wait!" Bucky grabs onto the edge of my T-shirt forcing me to stop, I look down at him with an eyebrow raised. "What are you going to watch?"

"I don't know, probably something funny, or something with explosions" I shrug.

He looks at me with begging eyes and I let out a sigh. "Fine come on then."

He lets go of my shirt and I start to walk off, I hear him get up and say something to Steve but he clearly isn't listening as no reply comes.

By the time I make it to my door he has caught up. I open the door and push it wide, leaving it resting open, putting my stuff on the bedside table. Bucky follows me in but pauses near the bed, looking from it to me, silently asking.

"Just stay on the right side and we wont have a problem."

He smirks at me as I move around him to pick up my remote and get onto my side of the bed. He climbs on next to me and leans back against the headboard, shifting the pillows to get comfortable.

I put on the first thing I see that looks good, lean back and get comfortable.

Halfway through the film I start to hear Bucky snoring softly, I look over at him, his body has slipped down the bed so he almost flat, except his head looks like it's at an awkward angle, he looks so peaceful right now. He hadn't asked me for help at all so I'm not sure if he's been struggling or not but I could guess, from the ever darkening bags under his eyes.

I turn the TV down slightly but leave it on as I get up. If you want answers then you have to get them yourself.

I leave my room and walk back down to the living area to find Steve. I find him in the exact same position we left him in.

"Steve?"

It's like he can't hear me, completely sucked in to the film. I call out a couple more times but I still don't get a reply.
