"He did what?!"

Huginn squawks from my shoulder as I shout down at the paper note in my hands.

It had been two weeks since Loki and I had decided on a date, we had relayed massages to his parents and Frigga had since been sorting arrangements on our behalf.

Last week I had received word from Odin about the council arguing over the refugees continued needs. What did they expect to happen? They were people too.

I crush the note in my hand and turn my head to Huginn.

"Get back to Odin. Tell him I'm on my way."

He doesn't wait and flies away as I turn on the spot, throwing open the balcony door and storming into the living room.

"Bad news then?" Tony asks standing there with his coffee.

"I'm going to Asgard, I'm not sure when I'll be back." I say as I march through the room.

"Aren't you going to tell Thor and Loki?" He calls after me. Everyone else had been training when I had spotted Huginn.

"You tell them!" I hurry through the building and make my way outside.

I step to where I've seen Thor stand when summoning the Bifrost and look up to the sky.

"Heimdall, little help?"

Light shoots down from the sky before it surrounds me and pulls me up. Part of me realises I hadn't thought this through as I land in the golden dome but my anger is too far gone to care.

"Lady Katherine, back sooner than expected." I look up at Heimdall and he gives me a small smile.

"Thank you, I wasn't sure if that was going to work." I straighten and let my power flow around me, changing my clothes into the armoured tunic and leather trousers. I lift my hands to my hair and begin braiding it quickly.

"Is he ready for me?" I ask as I walk over the the archway.

"He is, there is a skiff on the way to take you to the palace."

"Leave it for the Prince's. I'm sure they'll be along shortly."

"Very well, My Lady."

I tie off my braid and make myself shift into a raven, shooting into the sky I fly over the rainbow bridge, passing by the skiff  and the city wall, pushing myself until I reach the palace entrance.

I swoop down and shift back as I touch the ground, people around me jolt but I don't pay them any attention as I make my way to the throne room.

The doors open as I get there and I continue to the bottom of the stairs.

"Father." I bow to him.

"Daughter." I rise and look up at him. "It is good to see you, shame it's not under better circumstances."

"Is it true?" I ask him.

"The camp was destroyed yes. We do not have proof of his involvement yet."

"Who else would it have been?"

"Asgard has many allies and many enemies, you will come to learn this. There are many it could be."

"But if it was anyone else why would they target that one group?"

He gives me a small smile.

"That is the question isn't it. Come, I've called everyone back, they will be here shortly."
