"Oh my god. You're an idiot." I rub at my temples, trying to forget what I was just told.

Loki laughs quietly from his seat beside me. We had all woken up early and spent the morning packing up and prepping for our mission.

I still couldn't believe that they already had a hit, it seemed too good to be true and yet here we were, already in the jet and on the way.

"That's a bit rude, Kit." Tony snarks at me.

I open my eyes and look at him incredulously.

"I'm sorry but when I asked what the plan was I expected more than 'Get in, get out, don't get dead'

"If we want to keep our surprise factor then we need to go in from all angles. Tony, Thor, you two need to enter from the roof, Nat, Bucky and I will go through the front. Kathy, Loki go in from the back, we want to keep Kathy out of harms way for as long as possible. We don't know if there are more of these devices so tread carefully."

Everyone nods and sits back, we were going to be arriving soon. I slide my eyes to Tony with a smirk.

"That was what I expected when I asked for a plan." He shoots me a look before rolling his eyes.

"It was basically my plan."

"Sure it was." I laugh at him.

We all go quiet and I rest my head on Loki's shoulder, his hand squeezes on my thigh until I look up at him. He's looking down at me, straight faced but he flicks his eyes out towards everyone before looking back at me and raising an eyebrow. I give him a confused look before it hits me, I summon up my power, testing the barrier in his mind I find it's not there.

Loki? I'm surprised you're letting me do this.

Something about this doesn't seem right.

I know, it all feels too easy.

When we get there we stay together, no matter what. We do not sperate.

I know, we should be alright as long as we anticipate everything.

He puts his hand on my cheek, a frown on his face as he looks at me.

If they try to take you from me I will kill them all and burn the place to the ground.

Butterflies tickle inside my stomach but a soft frown pulls at my brows.

We need to keep him alive if possible so we can question him. He might not be the only one with this tech.

I will not risk your safety if it comes to it, I would rather light a match and watch the world burn for you. I love you.

I love you, Loki. I smile at him before my frown returns. But seriously you know you can't go around killing everyone that threatens me, right?

A devilish smile creeps onto his face and my insides tighten at the passion in his eyes.

"If you're going to talk in private can you at least not look like you're going to start a fight, we are in a jet and I'd rather not die today?"

We both turn our heads, looking at Tony.

"Why would we start a fight?" Loki asks, confusion in his voice.

"You have been frowning at each other for the past couple of minutes and then you got that creepy grin" He waves a hand at us.

I put my hand on Loki's thigh to still him as he tries to stand, he looks down at me and I just shake my head at him, a smile on my face before looking back at Tony.
