The building had manifested in a shimmering blur, from the bottom up. I can feel more of my energy being taken from me as the last section of the roof comes into existence with a final pulse of light.

Just like that I feel my power relax. I stare at the building, high walls made from concrete, the glass wall at the front allowing me a view of an empty but spacious interior, one I've got to fill with all sorts of technology.

"We did it" Loki's voice shakes me from my thoughts, it takes a second to register what he said but when it does I can't help the smile that teases my lips.

"For someone who said they had no doubts we could, you do sound awfully unsure" I tease him, turning my head to look at him.

He clears his throat and turns his body towards me. "In my defence we've never actually worked together to create something, only ever to fight whether that be each other or an enemy." He spares a glance to the building before letting go of my hand and taking a step away from me.

"That's not true, we've used our power together for other things" I smile at him, putting a hand over my abdomen where his mark and mine sits.

He bows his head slightly and seems to ignore my comment as he lowers his voice. "This was a refreshing change from our usual carnage."

I don't get a chance to speak before he turns his back to me and walks a few steps, taking out his half of the list. The smile falls from my face and my brows furrow in confusion at his change in demeanour.

My mood takes a dive so I choose to distract myself, I walk over to the building, gently pushing on the glass door, stepping through I let it close behind me. Looking around the space I pull out my half of the list. I focus my gaze on the back wall, reaching into myself for power I take my time in creating desks and chairs, computers and monitors.

I roll over one of the computer chairs and sit in the centre of the room spinning around on it for a moment while I consider the list.

I stay where I am as I look around, summoning different bits of equipment into the room. I don't realise how much time has passed until the overhead lights flicker on, momentarily blinding me.

"Well it's good to see everything is working." I lift my head to find Nat leaning up the glass wall. "Thought you might like some company."

"I'm busy." I state, turning to look at a different wall waving a hand, a large toolset appearing.

"You're missing dinner." She tries again.

"I'm not hungry."

I hear her huff but she doesn't move. I can feel her eyes on me as I pretend to read my list, I've read it so many times at this point that I already know what's next. We stay in silence as I work but it doesn't last long.

"We just want to make sure you're alright" An aggravated sigh leaves my lips as my head falls back against the chair, I stare up at the ceiling.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well this is just a guess" I roll my head slightly toward her with a frown and she chuckles at me "but Loki finished about an hour ago, came inside and locked himself in his room, I figured sure he's probably tired but then when Thor went to give him food... Well lets just say there is a dagger sticking out of the door now."

"You've got to be kidding me." I roll my eyes and bang my head against the back of the chair a few more times.

"So, what's happened?" I lift a hand, making a chair roll itself near me, she comes and sits with me.

I lift my head to look at her properly. "How much do you want to know?"

"Everything, from the moment I left to right now." I laugh softly at her demanding tone but do as she asks, telling her everything, From the day she left and I lost my temper at Loki and Bucky to this mornings conversations with Loki. At some point we'd pulled a desk over and I'd summoned us some food.
