The first day of school came around, and both of them were excited. Should I call him? Sophia thought. No, cause then it will seem like I miss him and I am insecure. Glad she had made up her mind, she walked out of the gym and ran right into Collin. Is that just a coincidence? She thought in her mind.
"Collin! Hi! I was just wondering where you were!"
"Really Sophia? No one can be fooled by you. Whenever you are nervous, you always play with your shirt."
"No I don't."
"Yes you do, look you are doing it right now!"
Sophia looks down at her hands which are indeed, playing with her shirt.
"Uh! You got me I guess."
Collin pulls Sophia into a hug and whispers in her ear.
"Yes, I did. Now, what do you want to do tonight?"
"Uh, I was thinking ma-"
"What is going on here?!" Jackson says angrily.
"We were just hu-"
"That didn't look like 'just hugging'" Jackson said, cutting Collin off. "Sophia, I thought you were my girlfriend?"
"In your dreams Jackson!"
"What do you see in him that I don't have?"
"Uh let me think... EVERYTHING! He is sooooo much better than you, and I am NEVER, I repeat NEVER going to date you!"
"You are going to one day eat those words Sophia." says Jackson angrily.
"Ok!"
"UGH!"
Jackson storms off down the hall thinking of some way he can get revenge on Sophia and Collin. As he was walking down the hall, he thought of it. If Sophia won't date me, then I won't let her date anyone else, he thought slyly. But, I am going to have to find some way to get those two lovebirds apart.
