I was in Mothercare with Darcy and Louise, to pick up a catalogue for me to look through, when we saw a beautiful little dolls house and decided to get it for Darcy's Christmas present, with a separate doll set that wasn't part of the house, which had a mum, dad, four grandparents, a boy and a girl with a baby twin brother and sister. The woman behind the till was staring at us, and then suddenly recognised us.
"Zoella? Why are you in Mothercare?" She asked.
I stumbled for something to say but in a split second Louise deftly replied: "We were picking Darcy's Christmas present."
The woman seemed satisfied, and we left the store with the bag tucked under Louise's arm.
"Thank you, chummy." I breathed a sigh of relief and pretended to wipe sweat off my forehead. Louise laughed. "No problem."
"We're telling the Zalfie fans in six weeks but I want to now!"
Louise nodded seriously.
"You don't want to jinx yourself and miscarry."
"Zoe having baby?" Darcy piped up. Louise slammed her hand over her mouth and said:
"Zoe not having baby. Don't say it."
I giggled, miming zipping my mouth, and she copied me.
When we got back we decided to film a Mothercare haul video on Louise's channel, as we had picked up some things for Darcy. Halfway through Darcy came and jumped, squealing, onto the bed. I tickled her lightly and she squealed again.
"Darcy, do you like your dolly?" Louise asked. Darcy nodded decisively and burbled.
"Yes I like dolly."
"What are you going to name her?"
"Baby Darcy!" She cheered.
"Hm, how about Daisy? That's similar to Darcy." I suggested.
Darcy considered this, then buried her face in the pillows and giggled.
