Ahh! New baby princess! So pleased for Kate and William and George, and I hope everything is ok! She was born this morning but I don't know when I'll update so told you now...
Kisses!
I woke up feeling excited. Today was the first day of Week Nine and we were going to see Matilda the Musical.
"Alfie! Wake up!" I shook him, already half up. I was in a blue vest top with blue and white spotty pajama bottoms.
"Zoeeeee... Go have a shower, I'll be up in a bit."
I happily obeyed, changing into a burgundy wool dress with black tights and little burgundy flats soon after. Alfie dragged himself into the shower too and I sent out a tweet.
So excited to announce that today I am nine weeks pregnant with me and Alfie's first baby. Think it's a boy, new vid soon! #newarrival
By the time Alfie was out of the shower my phone had crashed twice with replies but thankfully after twenty minutes the hysteria died down and we left after breakfast, at around 9 a.m.
Dan and Phil's apartment was a a short train and bus journey. We had continued vlogging, with us now talking freely about Harry. We met two hysterical fans, Leslie and Bridgette, who took us into Mothercare and bought us a tiny white teddy, and then a card.
When we were finally at Dan and Phil's apartment they opened the door and hugged me simultaneously. Dan slapped Alfie on the back and they made a few little jokes while Phil enveloped me in a second huge hug.
"Aw, guys!" I squealed.
"We've ordered a white babygro that will come soon, one that you can draw on, and we're going to get one of our graphic designer friends to inscribe "The Cat Whiskers Come From Within" on it," Dan informed me. I melted with excitement.
"So, are you okay?"
"Yes. There was a little sick in the early weeks but that's died down, I'm craving things but everything else is fine. It's kind of exciting. Plus various appendages are killing me..." I gestured towards my chest and everyone cracked up laughing.
"Well, that's amazing! Would you like some lunch?" Dan asked.
"We were just going to get something from a sandwich bar but we'd love to," I thanked him, then followed him into their kitchen. After a few exchanged sentences Dan fell quiet.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yes. It's just... I wish we lived closer. It takes us ages to see each other and I think us four could be really great friends."
"Well, when Harry's a few weeks old we'll bring him to meet you."
"Are you sure it's a boy? My mum thought both me and my brother were girls. I was going to be Amelia and Adrian would have been Bethany."
I stifled a giggle. "I suppose there is that, but we won't know until 20 weeks."
"We have a bet, me and Phil. He thinks boy, I think girl. We've agreed that the forfeit will be that the loser has to drive us down to see you when the baby's born."
"Fair enough." I sliced the last sandwich and carried the plate through.
"Ooh, Zoe, you forgot the strawberries!" Dan called, passing me a box. "Bought them specifically for you - I saw your liveshow and felt guilty that we didn't have any."
"Awww, Dan!" I hugged him hard. Dan awkwardly got his arms around me.
"So, only two days until Christmas! Have you got the decorations up?"
"Only last week!" Alfie joked.
"We've got your presents!" I said, passing the two parcels. Phil had a blue t-shirt with a cartoon lion family, and Dan had a black (naturally) t-shirt with a cartoon dinosaur family. It had taken me ages to find them.
"We've got yours. The baby's present is the cat whiskers babygro, but I'm afraid that won't be made until you're sure that it's a boy or girl. But we have yours."
They gave us ours.
"Lets open them after lunch!" Phil suggested.
We guzzled our lunch, talking and laughing.
"Right! Open!" Dan chanted.
"Okay..." We all tore at the paper and gasped in delight. Alfie had a purple beanie with a book called "Don't Stop Yet" by Joel Grove.
"I read it and it's really good." Phil chirped. "These t-shirts are amazing!" Dan laughed.
"I know!" Phil agreed. "Open yours, Zo!"
"Wow!" I lifted a thick book on pregnancy off a beautiful white maternity vest top. It had a mini set of cat whiskers on the stomach. "Aww, guys, this is so sweet!"
We sat for a few more minutes, then noticed the time and hurriedly excused ourselves, after much hugging. We stashed our gifts carefully in my bag and raced down the Tube.
Matilda was even more amazing second time round. I loved the songs "Quiet" and "Revolting Children". We arrived back at the hotel, enthusing about it, and I went to sleep almost immediately after dinner.
"The tiredness is setting in..." I joked to Alfie as I crashed down on the pillow. He obediently turned down the football and I slept.
Here we go, my 5 hour art exam was today and it went really good! I'm doing it Early Entry (my (grammar) school is really weird) but I'm in Year Nine and I'm doing the GCSE next year, blah de blah de blah, but I had to do an End of Year. 5 hours doing what I love with my phone and food. Pretty cool exam!
Kisses!
