Katsuki and Camie were given exactly three days to prepare for their wedding. All the while, Enji was there to watch their every move by giving a helping hand with the set up. It was fine for a while, Camie always initiating the contact or striking the first conversation between the two, but that was before she went in to place a chaste kiss onto his lips. Then, the attention became too much for Katsuki too handle
It's not as if he's never kissed, but he didn't like thinking that those will be the only lips he'll ever touch for a long time. It was a sour thought, imagining a life with a woman he'll never love with his heart, having sex for political purposes and living with fake love in heart. It was happening all too quickly in his sole opinion and having so many duties to complete in just a few days after he signs the wedding papers, was hanging heavy on his mind. One of the most excruciating thoughts was the bedding ceremony that comes immediately after his marriage becoming official.
Katsuki had taken a break that day from his play of pretend and went and did what satisfies him most after defeat; become victor of something else.
He had spoken with his physician about the Creatorian Queen that had fallen ill and searching for possible answers that could have led to her sickness. Tho, without having the problem in hand, the physician apologized after telling Katsuki that he has no idea what could have caused it. Katsuki understood but still gave him a forewarning of his departure with Momo Yaoyorozu to see if he could find a cure or any symptoms before his leave. Afterwards, katsuki left to speak with the Queen to tell her his news, knocking upon her door as he announced himself.
"May I come in?" Katsuki questioned, and although he didn't say who he was, he's sure that his voice was enough of a give away that he was male and didn't mean to interrupt any possible bathing or robing. To his surprise, Yaoyorozu opened the large wooden door seconds later and smiled after seeing her visitor.
"Your grace! Of course." She gave a small bow of her head and stepped aside, allowing Katsuki to come in the door shutting shortly after. The blond noticed three women sitting by the window, pillows and pelts scattered about to make it more comfortable but they were quickly coming to a stand and giving him a curtsy. "What brings you here in my chambers? Has it to do with the wedding preparations?" She asked, sounding hopeful and Katsukis mood slightly faltered at the mention of it but shook his head as he faced her, leaving the women for themselves as they decided to stay since no one asked them to do otherwise.
"No, I've come to discuss your ill mother, the Queen." He said and Momo's smile now lacked the excitement of moments before, hands lowering to her stomach as they clenched together.
"O-oh." She avoided eye contact before breathing in and facing Katsuki once more. "Whatever for?"
Katsuki straightened up a little and folded his hands behind the small of his back. "I feel as if I haven't done enough to help you and I've decided to do the most that I can and hired my best court Physician to go along when you depart. He's skilled with his work and saved many lives that were threatened with both poison and battle wounds." Momo looked hopeful at his word, eyes growing fondly and looking at her friends for a mere second to see the same expression of hope, but Katsuki was quick to add more.
