Mitsuki was fitting Katsukis clothes instead of the maids that usually helped him. This was only because today was the very awaited day he was going to be sealing his life away to the Glamorian Dynasty . Impractical, but it's what it felt like he was going to do today after signing his name onto the marriage papers. Not only that, but he was going to marry under the Gods eyes, something he had not wanted but his father had forced him to agree by using his absolute power onto Katsuki . No one would deny him. Not that they had a choice anyway, but Katsuki was still glaring by the time he finished dressing.

"Oh, don't look so miserable. He did what was best for you." She gave him a look as she buttoned the gold threaded undershirt at his neck. "For all of us, really ." she said with her voice having a suggestive, clogged tone and Katsuki huffed at the implication .

"I don't give two damn's about gods so why do I need to marry under one? Nonetheless, all of them. " Katsuki scoffed mockingly knowing his mother wouldn't really say anything since she was indifferent about the existence of a greater being only existing in books . Not to his surprise, she ignored his rebuttal and continued to dress him in silence, glancing at him at times until Katsuki had enough when she was pulling the black vest over his shoulders .

"Out with it." Katsuki sighed and Mitsuki got a little defensive as she swayed her shoulders from side to side

"I was only curious on how you feel about the bedding ceremony. that's all" She started, silencing a thoughtful Katsuki as she continued. "Unlike your father, you didn't have... others before Camie--"

" Just spit it out." Katsuki growled out and Mitsuki sealed her lips for a second as she smoothed out the jacket, her hands going down his shoulders to his wrists before she spoke .

"I know that everything seems like it's out of your control as of recently and that you had other plans for the future of this empire but please-" she pleaded in seriousness . "-I fear your future and I feel like this is the only way to protect you. It's not ideal and everything is not quite ideal- for anyone -but it's better then not to have another nation by our side with all that is happening with this plague ." Mitsuki spoke and Katsuki stared at her uncomfortably . He didn't quite know why but seeing such a powerful woman such as her falter and beg was so uncharacteristic of her. But, he could understand it somehow since an unidentified infection has been spreading across their lands .

"But it's a duty of a king to marry and form alliances with other nations even if they are quite last minute." She said, seemingly regaining herself; stern and confident front and Katsuki decided that it was a better look than one of desperation but he still said nothing .
