Jason drove them home. All of them. Ten fidgeting, nervous teenagers shoved into a tiny car, never made for a good combination.

"Hazel, Frank, out." Jason growled, obviously upset over something. Nico was squished between Will and Bianca, and he looked at Jason. The blondes hair was fluffy and thick looking, sending sparks of colors everywhere. But his eyes were angry, verging on the edge of hatred.

"Jason-"

"Shut up, Nico."

Nico's mouth snapped closed, and he turned to Bianca. She was glaring at Jason.

"What's got your panties shoved up your ass, Grace."

"Nothing, di Angelo. And I don't wear panties." He retorts, glaring at her from the front seat.

"Mm, that'll change when Nico gets a hold of you."

Nico looks scandalized as his sister chuckles. Jason blushes, tightening his harsh grip on the steering wheel. He slams on the breaks and tells Reyna and Bianca to get out. Nico, silently, starts to exit, but Jason grabs Nico by the upper arm and yanks him back inside, slamming and locking the doors before flooring the gas, heading back out of their neighborhood.

"Jason, I feel like you're kidnapping me! Please, please tell me where we're

going!" Nico begs, kneeling in the backseat, staring at the back of Jason's head. The blonde is still furiously driving, taking jolting turns and basically speeding

through every stop sign.

"I'm not kidnapping you. I'm pissed off for what I-"

"You called me Nicole, Jason, It's a mistake everyone makes."

"Yeah, but I'm-" Jason slams his hand into the steering wheel, swearing in frustration. "I'm supposed to be protecting you from that! God dammit, I'm supposed...to help..." Jason bites his lip and takes a shaky gulp of air, turning the car left.

"Are you tired Nico? There's a blanket in the trunk, you can lay down and rest. There's about an hour left in the trip, come on sweetie."

Nico's eyes widen at the nickname.

"...sweetie?"

Jason blushes, shaking his head. "Sorry. Blanket is in the back, again. Just go to sleep, mh? I swear i'll wake you up when we get there." Jason promises, looking over at Nico in the rear view mirror. He sighs as he sees Nico relax and reach into the back, grabbing the giant picnic blanket. He wraps himself in it and lays down, confused, but finding himself indeed, incredibly tired. He closes his eyes and frowns, slowly drifting off.

"Nico."

He groans, waving his arms in the air at the person. They chuckle and sit him up.
