Jason hogged Nico all weekend. He took him out to a movie, and then dinner at a McDonalds (More as a joke than anything), and then walked him home, smiling faintly and holding Nico's hand. When he helped Nico into his house, he kissed him lightly on the cheek, smiling, and then waved goodbye as he walked next door. Nico sighed and slumped up the stairs, rubbing sleep from his eyes. He knew Jason well enough to know he was nervous to make sure Nico enjoyed it, that he was safe, despite the fact they were neighbors.
It had always sort of been their habit to either text or skype till the other fell asleep. Jason called him, this time. His computer was already buzzing by the time he got to his room, bleary and tired.
"You alright? You look really tired."
"You walked me everywhere, Jason. I'm dead..."
Jason chuckled, leaning backwards. His eyes were shiny with happiness, and he looked at Nico with such love, Nico blinked a view times to make sure he wasn't imagining it. But Jason was gazing at him, a small smile on his pink lips, blue eyes staring at his own. He blushed, scrubbing a hand through his hair.
"Jassy?"
The blonde blinks, and then straightens out. "Yeah, Nico?"
"Are you okay, you're staring at me!"
Jason laughs, tilting his head. His hair shifts, and he closes his eyes, smiling.
"I thought...since now you're mine to admire...I might as well use it while it lasts, mh?"
"What, you think we won't last long?" Nico pouts. Jeez, he must be tired, he was pouting.
"N-NO! Nothing like that, Nico, I just- You'll get tired of me-"
"Jay, Have I yet?"
The blonde shakes his head. Nico smiles then, raising his arms above his head. "Then I won't get tired of you!"
Nico slumped forward then, his eyes drooping.
"You tired?"
The boy nods, eyes fluttering open and closed.
"Sleep then, I'll still be here tomor-"
Jason stops mid sentence, as if realizing something. Nico's eyes snap open.
"What."
"I'm...visiting MSU tomorrow...The school is letting me go...Oh god, Nico, I should've-"
"It's okay, Jassy." Nico grins, and then blows a kiss to the camera. He winks, smiles, and then giggles, blushing.
