hi everyone! first of all, i'd like to thank you all, from the bottom of my co-writer and i's hearts, for all the support. never in our wildest dreams did we ever imagine our story getting this much attention.

i mean, 60k+ reads?? that's insane! thank you so, so much for taking the time to vote, comment, and read this story. it means more than you could possibly know.

now, i've got to clear the air.

this story was written while my co-writer and i were very inexperienced writers, and there are many plot holes, as well as multiple flaws with this story.
although, being that there are many of you who like it, we won't be scraping it. nor will we be discontinuing it.

this story holds a special place in our hearts, and we have every intent on finishing it.
however, we have also come to the conclusion that it needs to be edited before we continue.

so, we will be rewriting the chapters and parts we feel are too rushed, make no sense, etc.

we'll try our best to do so in a timely-matter because so many of you have been waiting over a year for the next part (and we appreciate your dedication).
we predict to have the edits done by late spring, and continue the story around the beginning of the summer.

we don't entirely anticipate it will be that long (it could be earlier), but we don't want to project any false hope.

we would also like to apologize for making all of you wait so long. our lives have been quite chaotic, and we're still adapting to multiple changes that have happened over the course of our hiatus.

we thank you for your patience, love, and appreciation.

we look forward to continuing this story with better plot, writing, and an overall better reading experience.

once the edits are made, we'll be adding another author's note, informing you, so that you'll all be able to read the edited parts (because we can assure you that many, many changes will be made), so that you'll be up to date, and less confused when we continue the story.
