Jennie had almost forgotten she wasn't actually with Lisa as she dragged her around the marketplace with Ella between them. She didn't even bother to hide her jealousy anymore.

Ella had held both her mommies hands and happily skipped as they all walked together. Jennie and Ella had made sure not to let Lisa wander off by herself again, knowing it would only cause trouble.

They kept putting themselves in between any woman that came within a few feet of Lisa. Jennie made sure to be the one to talk every time they stopped to buy something at a stall that was being attended by anyone remotely close to their age, especially the women, unwilling to take the chance that they may be interested in Lisa and try to flirt with her.

Lisa had stopped at a vintage clothing shop for the umpteenth time that night and was currently looking through some of the jackets they had displayed. Lisa had been in the process of trying one on, asking the group how it looked when the
shop attendant tried to approach her.

The attendant was yet another pretty young girl and Jennie didn't like the way she was stalking towards Lisa. By the smile on the girl's face, she knew she was on her way to compliment Lisa's choice. Maybe even Lisa herself so Jennie cut her off, stepping in front of her and blocking her path. She crossed her arms and glared.

"Don't even think about it."

Jennie must have done a pretty good job at sporting her best bitchy face because the girl cowered and backed away.

Jennie was glad no one else noticed her possessiveness, they'd been too busy commenting on the jacket Lisa was modeling for them.

Jennie noticed how the attendant kept staring at Lisa longingly so Jennie ripped the jacket out of Lisa's hands once she took it off and proceeded to buy it for her. She smirked at the shop attendant the entire time as she handed over the cash, as if the gesture somehow claimed Lisa.

Lisa had been so startled when Jennie had ripped it out of her hands that she didn't even realize Jennie had gone to buy the jacket for her until Jennie marched back to them and presented the newly purchased jacket towards Lisa, smiling sweetly.

"Nini, you didn't have to." Lisa protested.

"Nonsense." Jennie said, hooking her arm around Lisa's and possessively dragging her out of the store.

Lisa didn't even notice how Jennie had looked back inside the shop as Lisa let Jennie pull her away. My girl. Jennie thought as she locked eyes with the shop attendant, a smug look plastered on her face.

Jennie had almost managed to convince herself they were out on a date until they ran into Kai and Jennie was brought back down to earth.

Of all the places and of all the people in Seoul, she just had to run into her soon to be ex-husband as she dreamily had spent the best night hanging out with her best friends, her daughter, and her ex fiancée who she still pined over. The universe really had a twisted sense of humor.

Jennie almost ran the other way as soon as she spotted him but instead tried to shield herself behind Lisa, afraid if she moved too fast it would draw Kai's attention towards her.

Kai looked drunk. He was sitting just a few feet away at a table drinking soju with a man Jennie didn't recognize.

Despite Jennie's efforts, he noticed her right away as he downed his shot. They had been too close to each other for him not to spot her. Jennie watched as Kai immediately got up from his seat, making a bee line towards her. His friend followed after him.

Chaeyoung had been the first one to notice him and quickly placed herself in between Kai and Jennie, blocking his path to her.

Jisoo had immediately picked up Ella when she noticed her wife shift protectively, finally spotting Kai herself.
