You'd think Rosie hadn't just suffered a traumatic experience by the way she was bouncing in her seat on the way home.

This time Lisa drove, Jennie was in the passengers side because Jisoo refused to leave her wife's side. Ella was cuddled in between her aunties in the back seat.

Rosie kept looking at Ella, caressing her cheek and then leaning in to kiss her wife. She was so excited to have her own Ella soon. She completely forgot about the pain in her cheek.

Jisoo and Lisa didn't argue once for an entire week.

If that wasn't suspicious enough, Jennie and Rosie kept walking in on them talking to Ryujin on the phone. The would immediately stop talking and hang up on her when they got caught, making some excuse or another.

"They're up to something." Rosie accused as they made dinner. Looking towards the game room where Lisa and Jisoo were both once again locked up in there.

"I know." Jennie sighed.

"We really should stop them."

"We really should." Jennie agreed.

"They're so stubborn though."

"Ugh, I know."

"How bad do you think it is?" Rosie worried.

"I don't know, I can't tell if it's serious enough for us to intervene or not. Lisa can't lie to me for the life of her and so far she's been able to avoid the subject pretty nonchalantly."

"Yeah, Jisoo is the same way. Maybe we shouldn't worry too much then."

"I hope we don't have to. It's just so unusual. They literally haven't argued once."

————————-

Rosie and Jennie relaxed when they found the girls bickering a few days later.

"Huh, I guess we were worried for no reason," Jennie said.

"I guess you're right." Rosie said smiling at the familiar sight. Thinking everything went back to normal.

"It was probably just the scare of you being hurt that pacified them for a bit," Jennie said as they watched them wrestle on the floor arguing about some criminal tv show they had been watching. Arguing about the defendants charges. Jennie really didn't know, she was just glad they weren't being weird anymore.

————————-

They were proven wrong a few days after that.

Rosie and Jennie had both been at home. Rosie was off that day and Jennie had just picked Ella up from school. Ella was doing her homework in the living room and the tv was on to some grown up channel her auntie had accidentally left it on before going with her mommy to fix lunch.

Ella decided she'd done enough homework that she should be allowed to change the channel to watch cartoons for a bit.

Ella shouted from the living room as soon as she looked at the screen.

"Mommy!" Ella shouted frantically.

Jennie rushed in to the room in a panic.

"What's wrong baby? Are you hurt?" Jennie said, inspecting her.

"I'm okay mommy, look, it's the ugly man that punched mama!" Ella said, pointing to the tv.
