"Son, can speak to you for a moment? In private, please" Mr. Lee beckoned me over, endearing smile painted his face.
"Of course, Dad." I smiled and took a glance at Seonhwa.
"Wait here okay? I'll be back soon. I love you!" She nodded whilst I stroke her head.
Then I jog over to Mr. Lee, he led me to his work room. I sighed, if Mr. Lee wanted to talk to me in private, it's my time to be separated from Seonhwa, for a while.
"Son- Ah, no, myPrince. I have this important information for you. The castle will hold a masquerade ball party. It will be held in 5 days from now. They invited us, all of us, even commoners. Other Kingdoms are also invited, yours included.
But, you're no commoner my Prince. If you attend the ball as a commoner and not as a prince, not only Seonhwa will be very shocked, but the whole town as well, as all the villagers know you." I was right, I need to go back to my kingdom soon. Then get back here, as a Prince. Thankfully, it's a masquerade party. Seonhwa will not recognize me, hopefully.
"Alright, when am I gonna go back?" I massaged my temple.
"Tonight, my Prince." He bows.
"Very good, thank you for the information Mr. Lee, I'll be packing my things, call me when the horse is ready," Mr. Lee nodded and turned away but before he can go, my words halted his steps.
"And please don't call me by my title, Uncle Lee, you're my mom's brother after all. Just call me Hyunjae." After showing a grin, I walked away.
"Seonhwa, come with me please?" I got back to the place where I spoke with Seonhwa before.
"What happened, Jaehyun?" I didn't answered, instead I took her hand.
I hold her hand and guide her to my room upstairs, hers being across mine. She actually ran away with her mother, and Uncle Lee found them being in need for help, so they stayed here, longer before I have. I was visiting my uncle and famished on my way here, so I ordered food, and Seonhwa was the waiter. You can call it love at first sight.
"What are we gonna talk about?" Seonhwa plopped down on my mattress.
"Can you help me pack my clothes? I need to go somewhere, Dad ordered me to buy some herbs in another kingdom," Lies.
"Wait, why so sudden? Which kingdom? For how long?"
"Uh, Zyob Kingdom. The herb is only sold there. It's pretty rare." More lies, not the Zyob Kingdom one though. Lee Jaehyun, the third born Prince of Zyob Kingdom from eleven brothers.
I was taken aback with Seonhwa's frown, I quickly stepped forward and kneeled down.
"Hey, don't be sad. I'll be gone for a while, a week. I'll be back here in a week. Don't worry, I'm gonna be fine." I held her fragile face in my hands, stroke her cheeks. It felt so right to stay here with her... I don't even wanna go back to my own kingdom.
"Now, let's pack my things so that I can leave early, and get back early, okay? Let's go," With a peck on her forehead, she nodded and started helping me with packing my clothes, and things that I will need on the way.
