I woke up to the smell of smoke from downstairs
I got up and checked the time

I walked downstairs slowly to see my dad and Jaden putting out a stove fire
Jaden saw me out of the corner of his eye and tapped my dad and pointed at me
"We tried to make you breakfast in bed but you can see how that turned out" jaden said turning red
I walked over and hugged them both after putting out the fire
"Ness we're going to the beach and then we can give you our presents before the party starts" my dad said cleaning up the small mess
I nodded and me and Jaden went upstairs to get ready
"What about this swimsuit" I said walking out of the bathroom

I nodded while laughing as he picked out a bathing suit
He picked out two for me to try on

"I like the first one" I said showing him the second one "I agree" jaden said getting out his swim shorts
I put the first one back on as jaden changed in my bedroom. I brushed my teeth and my hair, washed my face and put my hair up in a clip
