A visit to the Isle

"Mira are you sure you are ok?" Camilo asked for the millionth time "yes I'm fine Cami I promise" she said "oh we got to go or we'll be late" she said as her and Camilo left their room in the castle they were staying in during their visit. "Oh yeah we are going to the Isle today" Camilo said "wait you're tell me you forgot?" Mirabel asked as this is all that Camilo had been talking about "hey with you getting hit it slipped my mind I still don't know how I didn't kill Audreys grandfather for hitting you" he said as the two of them made their way to the bridge that crossed both lands "ok when we cross over you all need to be careful some of the people on the Isle are not as friendly as us the places that are the safest are our old clubhouse and my mothers castle as it's where Uma lives and does her work. The good villains like my father Hades though I'd be careful around him because he tends to be a hot head, Dr. Faciler, Smee, and Lady Trimane are the villains you can approach as they chose good for the sake of their children or in Dizzy's case grandma" Mal said "now we will go in twos Mirabel you're with me, Isabela you're with Mal, Mariano you are with Carlos, Antonio you're with Dizzy and Camilo you are with jay" Evie said. Once they all got on the isle Isabela decided that she'd rather stay with Uma and Mal while Dizzy and Antonio ran to go and meet her grandmother. Camilo, Mirabel, Delores and Mariano went to the VK's old hang out. "So this is where you used to hang out before you came to Aroudon" Mirabel said "yes" Evie said "wait I have a question how did you all know that you weren't like your parents?" Mariano asked as he knew that they weren't evil thanks to Carlos who he really got along with "well you see when we came to Arouodon all we wanted to do was be like our parents but as time went on and we all found things that we loved more then being evil we knew we couldn't go through with our parents original plans for revenge and it was different for all of us" Evie said "and what was it for all of you? I mean I know Uma's was because she just fell in love with the place" Delores asked "well mine was because for the fist time in my life to other people becides my friends I was seen as more then just a pretty face" Evie said "mine was because I loved being apart of a team" Jay said "mine was because my mother told me that dogs were rabid pack animals that would kill you the moment they saw you but then I met dude and everything my mother told me unraveled I actually used to have a cat" Carlos said "what happened to it?" Camilo asked "well one day my mother found out about it and that day I found it's dead body in my closet my mother had killed it and turned it into a pair of earmuffs" he said earning a gasp from Mirabel "that's awful" she said "that was our life before we came to Aroudon but this place raised us made us who we are" Evie said all of them continued to talk until the sun started going down "we need to head back the isle  gets crazy after dark it's gotten a lot better since Uma took over but it's still crazy"  Evie said they all left the VK's clubhouse and went back to Aroudon. Once Camilo and Mirabel were back in their room and cuddled close together they started taking about what they learned "I can't believe that Carlos's mother would kill something that meant so much to him well actually I can but to hear him say it" Mirabel said "I know it's awful" Camilo said agreeing with her "at lest Abula supported me before the rebuilding of Casita by giving me fabric and yarn for my clothes" Mirabel said "actually that was me I just made it look like it was Albua"  Camilo said "Cami you- thank you" Mirabel said "of course anything for you Mira becides you looked beautiful with your embroidery" he told her as they both fell asleep.
