Mirabel Madrigal had a secret one that nobody knew what was that secret you ask? Well she was in love with Camilo but she'd never tell him for fear that he might hate her if he found out as the two of them had just gotten close again after casita fell and they were rebuilding it and she didn't want to lose him again so she kept it a secret and she wrote it in her diary which was almost found by Camilo himself thankfully she had found it first and kept it around her at all times so that her biggest secret would never come to light but little did she know that her biggest secret would be revealed to her entire family one fateful day. Camilo Madrigal had a secret as well he was in love with Mirabel he'd never tell her though so he was forced to go into his room at night while everyone else was asleep and go to the mirror that had her beautiful reflection and tell her all about his undying love for her Camilo did not know that one day he would have to pluck up the courage and tell Mirabel about how he truly felt about her or risk losing the only person that he could ever love would ever love. Mirabel was getting the table set for her family as it was almost dinner time and her mother was busy cooking the food soon dinner was ready and the whole family sat down to eat soon after and of course Camilo sat next to Mirabel as he always did now the family talked about their day and what they had done and it was enjoyable since Mirabel could now contribute to the conversation. Dinner ended soon after and family went into the living room and hung out with each other when the doorbell rang and Mirabel being the closest to the door went to answer it opening the door a strange man entered the house and pushed Mirabel aside causing her to fall to the ground and twist her ankle "oh look it's the Madrigal with no gift" the man said as the rest of the family came into the room and Camilo helped Mirabel up "Mira are you alright?" He asked as she was heavily leaning on him "no I twisted my ankle" she said causing her mother to give her an arepa and Mirabel found that she could stand up again. "Oh look Mirabels secret diary" the man said picking it off the floor "give that back to my sister it's private" Isabela said "no I want to see if anything of value is in it" the man said as he opened it "oh look someone's in love with their cousin" the man said and he began reading Mirabel secret diary making her run up to her room in tears "Mirabel wait!" Camilo said as he ran after her while everyone else attacked the man well Antonio tried to go with Camilo but Bruno stopped him "they need to discuss this on their own" he told him as he picked up the now seven year old and took him to his room where he'd be safe. Meanwhile Camilo had gone to look for Mirabel and finding her no where "casita please where is Mirabel?" He asked the house and Casita knowing that he needed to get to her now and the house led him to the nursery unlocking the door just in time for him to see that Mirabel was climbing over the edge of her balcony "MIRABEL!" He shouted and he ran to her "please Camilo just leave me alone" did said "I'm afraid I can't do that you see if I let you do this then my whole world would be gone Mirabel I love you your my whole world Mirabel please let me love you" he said as he slowly approached her something in his voice made Mirabel believe him and she took his hand which he had reached out to her when he got close enough thankfully she did because as she turned her feet slipped "I got you Mirabel I won't let you fall I promise" Camilo said as he gripped her hands and pulled her up and into the safety of his arms and she just clung to him tears flowing down her face as he held her and that's when she felt tears landing in her hair "Camilo are you crying?" Mirabel asked him "yes I almost lost you Mira please don't ever do that again" he said as he held her tighter "you you called me Mira you haven't called me Mira since we were kids" she said "should I not have you used to like it" Camilo said "no the opposite actually I've missed you calling me Mira Cami" she told him "I never thought I would hear my nickname that you gave me all those years ago I've missed it" he told her at that moment their eyes met and they kissed for the first time right as the family came into Mirabels room and the family let them have their privacy and from that day forward Camilo always called Mirabel "Mira" and Mirabel called Camilo "Cami" just like when they were kids except now it met something so much more to them.
