It was the one year anniversary of Casita being rebuilt and the family was getting ready for the party that was going to take place that night. "Lores I think I'm going to do it tonight I'm going to tell Mirabel how I feel" Camilo said to his sister as they both were helping set up the decorations for the party "it's about time Milo I was going to tell her myself if you didn't come clean soon" Delores told him "you wouldn't dare!" Camilo said "oh I would" Delores said "tell me what?" Mirabel asked as she came around the corner with more decorations "nothing nothing" Camilo said a little too quickly "ok" Mirabel said confused as she started to decorate with them and Camilo let out a breath "that was close" he thought to himself. Soon night fell on casita and the time of the party drew near and the family had gone into the house to get ready for the party. Mirabel was in her room putting on her dress which she of course had made herself "you need help getting that zipped up?" Isabela asked as she came into her sisters room "yes thank you Isa" Mirabel said and as Isabela zipped up Mirabels dress "have you thought about what I said?" She asked as she sat on Mirabels bed as Mirabel put on her diamond butterfly earrings "you mean tell Camilo how I feel about him?" Mirabel asked "yes" Isabela said "yes I did and I'm going to tell him but I'm nervous Isa" Mirabel said "of course you are it's only natural to be nervous after all it's hard to tell someone how you feel about them" Isabela said "is this how you felt when you told Alfonso how you felt?" Mirabel asked "if you mean was my stomach in knots and I felt like I was going to throw up then yes" Isabela said "Isa I don't know if I can do this what if he doesn't feel the same way?" Mirabel asked "well then he's crazy" Isabela said "ok I'll tell him thanks Isa" Mirabel said "anytime" Isabela said as she left the room running into Camilo "Isa can I ask you for some flowers I want to tell Mirabel how I feel tonight and I would like to give her flowers " Camilo said "of course you can Camilo" Isabela said as she made flowers appear "thanks Isa" Camilo said "oh and Camilo? If you hurt her I will hurt you" Isabela said "I wouldn't ever well not on purpose" Camilo said "you better not" Isabela said as she went to her room Camilo then headed back to his room putting the flowers in a vase and peeled out the hallway as he saw Mirabel leave her room gosh she was stunning as per usual "you got this Camilo" he said as he ran to her room and dropped off the flowers in her room and ran out of her room. Mirabel returned to her room as her mother had called her to her room to help her with her hair and that's when she saw the flowers with note she immediately read the note. The note said and of course Mirabel decided to go to see who it was as it was almost time for the party she made her way into the gardens and found Camilo just as a slow song flowed out of the house "Cami what's going on?" Mirabel asked "look I have something to tell you but first won't you dance with me?" He asked her "of course Camilo" Mirabel said Camilo then pulled her close and the two of them began to dance "Camilo what are you doing? I was supposed to meet someone in the gardens tonight they said that they loved me and they would meet me in the gardens" Mirabel said "Mirabel I was the one who left the note in your room" Camilo said as they continued to dance "you love me?" Mirabel asked shocked "yes I love you everything about you" he said as the song came to an end "Cami-" was all she got out before his lips were on hers in a sweet kiss and she of course kissed back "Cami I love you too but why me I'm not the most beautiful girl in Encanto we all know that belongs to Isabela" Mirabel said "maybe to all of the rest of the people of Encanto but not to me she is pretty yes but you by far are the most beautiful" Camilo said "what do you see in me that made you choose me Cami you can any girl you want in Encanto what is about me that you love so much? Mirabel asked at this question Camilo took her hand and the two of them ran to his room filled with mirrors as he used them to change his form he took her over to his closet which had one of the only mirrors that didn't change his form as he wanted to tell her in his own true form "look in my mirror Mira I wish you could see what I see how beautiful you are how kind and gracious you are" he said as his hands held her waist and his head on her shoulder hearing all of this brought tears to Mirabels eyes he loved her that much? "Mira don't cry please don't cry I hate it when you cry plus I'd rather live" Camilo said "oh Cami I'm not crying because I'm sad I'm crying because no one has ever said that to me and what do you mean by you want to live?" Mirabel asked "well Isabela threatened me if I ever hurt you she'd hurt me and we both know she'd do it" Camilo said "but you didn't hurt me" Mirabel said as she turned around and stood on her tiptoes as he was taller then her and kissed him and he pulled her closer Mirabel spent the rest of the night dancing with Camilo save for one with Antonio and at the end of the night her and Camilo went to his room and she fell asleep in his arms.
