The next morning Mirabel woke up in Camilo's arms. "Cami let me up I have to get dressed I'm meeting Evie and Mal in town this morning" she said as she struggled to escape his grip. "Fine I'm going to meet Jay anyway" he said "oh don't be like that you'll still have me tonight" she said leaning in close "mmm I like the sound of that my darling" Camilo pulling her in for a kiss. Mirabel left his room and got ready to meet Evie and Mal in town putting on one of her handmade dresses and headed down to breakfast. After everyone had their fill they all went their separate ways. "So how did you and Camilo end up together? I mean you guys are cousins so you have to had to spend a lot of time together" Evie asked asked her as the three of them walked around town "actually no I mean we were until he got his gift and was kept away from me as he had his duties to for fill in town and I as the only one with out a gift did chores around the house" she told them "wait gifts what do you mean by gifts?" Mal asked "well as my grandmother told me when she was young she fell in love with my grandfather but their town was under attack and so the two of them along with my mom, aunt and uncle who were babies at the time fled but as they were crossing the river that you came in on your way over here the men who were attacking the town caught up to them my grandfather then sacrificed himself for my grandmother and his children as well as the people and a candle was born out of that sacrifice and from that candle everyone got gifts" she explained "so what kind of gifts does your family have?" Mal asked "well my mother has the power to heal people with her cooking, my aunt can control the weather, my tio Bruno can see the future, my sister Luisa has super strength, my other sister Isabela can grow plants and flowers, my cousin Delores can hear everything and I mean everything even a pin drop, my cousin and boyfriend Camilo can shape-shift into different people and my cousin Antonio can speak to animals as for my grandmother she's the candleholder" Mirabel told the both of them she then explained the events that led to the family being close and complete again. "Wait so your uncle was living in the walls of your home for ten years?" Evie asked surprised "yes" she said to them "wow, but if you and Camilo didn't interact for so long how did you two get together?" Evie asked her "oh that, well it happened about a year ago when I turned seventeen we had a small party and at the end he took me out on the roof and gave me this bracelet and told me how he's loved me since he was ten and how he couldn't hide it anymore" she's said recounting the events of that night almost a year ago. "That's so sweet" Evie said "I know so how did you two meet your significant others?" Mirabel asked them "well for me mine stared with a dream that at the time I thought was disgusting but I came to find out how amazing love was" Mal said "how do you mean?" Mirabel asked "well when we got here you may have noticed that my husband Ben introduced my friend Uma as lady Uma of the Isle he was referring to where all of us exept for Ben, Lonnie, Jordan, Audrey and Chad" Mal explained "the isle we are from is called the isle of the lost and it's the place where all of the villains lived well until last year when Mal here decided to open up the barrier for good as some of the villains decided to be good for the sake of their children" Evie told her "and your parents?" Mirabel asked "well that's complicated" Mal said "my mother was the one who told me love was weak and useless and well now she's a lizard" "wow that's sad love is beautiful and kind" Mirabel said "I know" then it hit Mirabel "wait how exactly did your mother become a lizard?" She asked "she turned her self into one after she lost a staring contestant with me she shrank down to the size of the love in her heart" Mal explained "wait who exactly is your mother?" Mirabel asked "Maleficent and my father is Hades" she said "wow and I thought my family was complicated" Mirabel said "yeah Maleficent wasn't exactly the best parent but neither was mine as mine is the Evil Queen" Mirabel listened to them talk about what their childhoods was like and she felt sorry for them at least her parents loved her. "My mother kept me away from my father because he loved me" Mal said "I found out on my sixteenth birthday and I immediately told Evie and for the longest time she was the only one who knew" Mal told her and explained what happened that made her queen of Aroudon at around five thirty the three of them headed back to Casita for dinner after dinner had been served Mirabel went to Camilo's room as she had missed him and they had agreed to spend the night together. As she opened the door she was pulled into the room and into the arms of her Camilo. "I missed you today" he said as he buried his face in her curls "'mmm I've missed you too not being able to snuggle up to you, not being in your arms, not being able to kiss you all day" Mirabel said getting closer to his lips and Camilo knowing her advantages by now closed the gap and fully kissed her gently walking her back until she was against one of his many mirrors. Once the need for air became too great for them to ignore unless they wanted to pass out they broke apart. "Do you know what it was like for me not being able to touch you?" Camilo asked as he began to trial kisses down her neck "pure torture I assume" Mirabel said "you would be right my darling" he said to her kissing her one last time before pulling her into his arms and laying them both on his bed. "I love you Cami" Mirabel said "I love you too Mira so much" he said back. "So how was your day?" Mirabel asked "great actually Jay and I have a lot in common well minus the fact that my parents love me" he said running his hands through her curls making her snuggle more into him "his father is Jafar you know" he said "yeah Mal and Evie told me I feel bad for Mal her mother told her that love is weak but now she knows the truth that love is amazing if you give it to the right person" she said moving up to kiss him. "Who are their parents?" Camilo asked once they broke apart "Mal's is Maleficent and Hades and Evie's is the evil queen" she said. " Wow and I thought our family was complicated" Camilo said making her laugh "I know that's what I said, why are you looking at me like that?" The look Camilo was giving her was one of love and adoration "no reason I just love your laugh it's adorable but then again you're adorable" he said to her "how did I get so lucky?" Mirabel asked "you got lucky? No I'm the lucky one the most beautiful woman in the world loves me" he said to her. The next morning it was unfortunately time for their new friends to go but the family was excited because in a few months they would be going to Aroudoun they all said their goodbyes and watched as the limousine faded away in the distance.
