Camilo and Mirabel were in her room and Camilo was kissing her neck. "I wish we could tell the family" Mirabel said as his lips came upon hers "me too" Camilo said to her "I hate hiding form them" Mirabel said "me too but we have to keep it quite because if they ever found out they'd take you away from me and I wouldn't ever want that I almost lost you once I can't lose you again Mira that would destroy me" Camilo said "me too you don't know what it was like thinking that you hated me all of those years that I didn't get a gift" she told him "I know and I hated doing it but I had to protect you and that was the only way to do it was to act like I hated you and believe me it wasn't easy" Camilo told her as he began to run his fingers through her hair. A little while later both Mirabel and Camilo were in the kitchen making food for the family with Camilo sneaking kisses. "When do you think that they will tell us?" Isabela asked as Camilo twirled Mirabel around the kitchen playfully "whenever they are ready" Abula said "although if someone weren't so protective they probably would have told us sooner" abula said looking at Augustine "what? I just want my daughter to be loved" he said "honey she is Camilo loves her so much" Julielta said "but he hated her for so many years" Augustine tried to point out "he only acted like that to protect her Tio" Delores said "he loved her so much that he acted like he hated her you don't have any idea of how many nights I had to go and comfort him after the bad things he would say about her" she said they watched them dance. "Honey she's happy and that's all we've ever wanted for her" Juilelta said "I guess you are right dear" he said as Camilo dipped her and kissed her and made her giggle.
