Letters and kisses

"Cami? Mirabel asked "yes my darling" Camilo said "what?" Mirabel asked "I-I mean I have to go" Camilo said and he ran from the room "Cami wait!" Mirabel said running after him "look Mira I'm sorry about what I said" Camilo said "but I liked It like you like a lot but that's impossible for you to feel the same way I do about you" Mirabel said "I called you darling didn't I so what does that tell you?" Camilo asked "that you do like me how I like you but as much as I want to be with you we have Delores to deal with and we both know she has trouble keeping secrets" Mirabel said "good point" Camilo said sadly that's when Mirabel thought of something "letters" Mirabel said "what are you talking about Mira?" Camilo asked "we can send secret letters to each other" Mirabel "Mira your absolutely brilliant I could kiss you" Camilo said "well Delores is in her room so if you really want to " Mirabel said "well in that case" Camilo said as he dipped her "you and you're flair for the dramatic" Mirabel said "true but you love it" Camilo said "that I do so are you going to kiss me or not" Mirabel said she and Camilo didn't need to be told twice kisses her "Mira I love you I always have"  Camilo said "I love too Cami" Mirabel said Camilo was about to kiss her again when they heard voices downstairs "we should go and meet them downstairs so they don't suspect anything" Mirabel says "you go I have something I need to do first" Camilo said as he kissed her forehand "ok" she said to him as she left once she was gone Camilo wrote his first letter to her once he was sure it was perfect he snuck into her room and left the note on her bed went downstairs to join his family for dinner sitting next to Mirabel as he always did. Later Mirabel went up to her room to go and grab a jacket as it had gotten chilly when her eyes landed on an envelope on her bed she was about to reach for it when "Mila are you coming out or not? Antonio asked "yes Toni" she said and she headed back outside soon it was time for everyone to go to bed and Mirabel ran up to her room picking up the envelope and reading the letter from Camilo.
My Darling Mirabel, wow I can't believe I get to call you that to your face now well at least while we are alone and in our letters. Mira you are so incredibly beautiful and kind and generous to everyone you meet which is one of the many reasons why I love you. I've loved you since I was five but being the coward I was I hid my feelings and I acted like I hated you but in actuality I loved you. Mira their something you need to know I followed you all the time in one of my different forums of course I was too afraid to let you know it was me. Darling you have and will always be the light of my life my Mirabel.

Mirabel smiled as she read the letter and was in shock had he really been their the whole time? When Abula and the rest of the family besides her parents ignored her? Mirabel then wrote a letter to Camilo then decided to get some sleep as it was late at night but finding herself unable to due to what Camilo told her so she got up and went to go get something to drink as she was thirsty Mirabel managed to make it out of her room and saw that Camilo's door was open so she went in their and left the note on his bed and continued down to the kitchen where she got a glass out of the cabinet and went to the sink to pour herself a glass of water "Mirabel what are you doing up? It's late" Camilo said from behind her making her jump "Cami! Don't do that" Mirabel said "sorry why are you still up it's late?" Camilo asked "I read you letter Cami, why did you do it Abula would have been mad that you were cutting your chores" Mirabel asked "I think I owe you an explanation" Camilo said "yes you do Cami I'm not worth it" Mirabel said to him "yes you are Mira I did it because after your failed ceremony Abula told me that I couldn't be around you any more so I acted like I hated you when I was Camilo but I just couldn't stay away it hurt me too much so I disguised my self as other people in the town watching you from a distance seeing you grow more beautiful every day and I just fell deeper and deeper in love with you" Camilo said "Thank you Cami but I'm not beautiful" Mirabel said "how can you not see how beautiful you are? I part of it's my fault but I swear I will make you see how beautiful you are" Camilo said "What if I can't?" Mirabel asked "then I will never stop telling you" Camilo said as he took an arepa from the cabinet "Cami I never told anyone this but I want to see the world" Mirabel told him "then that's what you'll get I'll give you the world besides it will be fun you and me alone where I'm free to hold you and kiss you because no one knows of our family outside of Encanto" Camilo said as he pulled her into his lap "Cami I like the way you think" Mirabel said as said as she ducked her head under his chin her curls ticking his neck and yawned "sleep Mira I'll carry you to bed" Camilo said as he ran his fingers through her curls "Cami you don't have to do that" Mirabel said as her eyes grew heavy as his touch felt good "I want to now sleep my darling"  Camilo said "can I have a kiss good night?" Mirabel asked "of course you can Mira" Camilo said as he ever so gently kissed her then continued to run his fingers through her hair  "I love you Cami" Mirabel said before her eyes closed and she fell asleep "love you too Mira" Camilo said as he relaxed as her breathing evened out Camilo then got up from his chair and carried her up to her room and gently put her on her bed covering her up with her blankets so she didn't get cold "sleep well my Princess" Camilo said as he kissed her forehead and shut the door behind him on his way out. Camilo finally arrived back to his room and he saw a envelope on his bed and he recognized the handwriting as Mirabels beautiful like every thing was she was truly beautiful inside and out and he loved her for it opening the envelope and took out the paper out.
My dearest Cami, I can't believe that you actually love me back. Cami I can't believe you skipped your chores to make sure I'm ok well I it's in the past now and you don't have to hide anymore Cami I love you for you please don't feel like you ever have to hide from me. When you called me by my pet name that you used to call me when we were kids made me so happy I've missed you calling me Mira. I love you Cami I will always love you and in a way I always had I had a feeling at five but being a child I didn't know then it wasn't until I turned ten when I realized that I loved you. I couldn't tell you because I thought you hated me but clearly that was never the case and I get why you did it I do so I forgive you for that. My Cami I promise to love you until the day I die.

Camilo couldn't help but smile she was now his beauty and yes he regretted treating her the way he did but he was so glad to have her back to have her with him again and now she was his forevermore his beauty "Cami can I stay with you?" Mirabel asked from his door "of course Mira you don't even have to ask" Camilo said as Mirabel made her way into his room and snuggled into his embrace falling asleep as soon as his arms were around her Camilo then reached up and turned off his lamp and laid down in his bed and pulled her closer then she already was and fell asleep holding the only woman he would ever love. A few days later and quite a few kisses and letters later Mirabel was in town with Isabela "Mimi I want to thank you again for telling me I don't need to be perfect" Isabela said "of course Izzy" Mirabel said and the two of them continued to talk until "VAMPIRES!" a man said as he came out of the shadows "I think we should run" Mirabel said as he pulled out a steak and tried to stab them both with it "yeah maybe your right" Isabela said as she took Mirabel hand a little more firmly then she meant to and they ran running into Camilo and Delores as they were running "more vampires!" The man said as they ran "no time to talk we'll explain later Mirabel said as she saw Camilo getting ready to ask something soon they arrived back to Casita Mirabel falling just outside it's entrance thankfully Isabela wrapped vines around her as the mans steak came down and pulled her into the house right on time and Camilo not caring at this point pulled her into his arms as she was shaking "shh you ok we're all ok" Camilo said as he cradled her in his arms "now Isa what in the world is going on?" Camilo asked "to tell you the you the truth I don't know Mimi and I were talking and then the next thing we knew that man was accusing us of being vampires" Isabela said trying to catch her breath that night Camilo snuck into Mirabels room "Cami you ok? I usually come to see you" Mirabel said "I almost lost you today" Camilo said as he pulled her into his arms "Cami-" was all she got out before he kissed her really kissed her and man she loved it she loved him "your beautiful I love you so much Mira" Camilo said as he hugged her "Cami you held me in front of Isabela and Delores" Mirabel said "to be fair Isabela and Delores were also holding hands" Camilo said as he twirled a pice of her hair in between around his finger "good point I'm just worried that they'll find out and they'll tell the family and they will separate us" Mirabel said "then we'll run away I'm not having you taken from me again you don't know what it was like not being able to hold you all those years" Camilo said "ok, since you missed holding me why don't you carry me to bed hmm?" Mirabel said as she rubbed their noses together and fell asleep in his arms as he lifted her up in them "anything for you my beautiful Princess" Camilo said as he carried her to his room and gently as he could he placed her on his bed as he had to get ready for bed and well being the dramatic person he was his bed was a stage as soon as she was safe gosh he loved her so much and one day he was going to ask her to marry him "I'll be back soon my darling" Camilo said as he kissed her forehead and went into his bathroom to brush his teeth and climbed into bed pulling her close to him. Mirabel got up to go to the bathroom at around midnight "Mira no you can't be gone my beautiful Mira" Mirabel came out of the bathroom "Cami wake up it's a dream wake up" Mirabel said shaking him awake "Mira? But how? I saw you die right in front of me Isabela couldn't pull you away in time" Camilo said with tears coming down his face "Cami my darling it was a nightmare I'm ok I'm alright" Mirabel said as she snuggled back into him "marry me?" Camilo asked "what?" Mirabel asked surprised "marry me" Camilo said as he reached up on his mantle and grabbed a box and handed it to Mirabel who opened it "Cami when did you get this?" Mirabel asked looking at the ring which had a butterfly as the diamond and the band was a chameleon "I had it made when I turned ten so what do you say marry me?" Camilo asked "yes of course yes" Mirabel said "you know this means we are going to have to tell the family" Camilo said "I know but I think we should wait until morning" Mirabel said "I know that" Camilo said as he kissed her the next morning Camilo and Mirabel called for a family meeting "Mirabel and I have something we want to tell you" he said as he held her hand "what is it Camilo?" Abula asked "Mirabel and I love each other romantically and I asked her to marry me last night" Camilo said "and I said yes and we would like for our family to support us" she said "do you truly love one another?" His mother asked "yes" they both said "then you have our blessing" Mirabels father said "thank you" Camilo a year later Mirabel and Camilo were married.
