So she ran into her bedroom, closed the door & wouldn't talk to me. I tried Scott, I give you my word.
I.......I just don't think I can do this anymore; I mean Amy giving my ring back about killed me.
But then seeing my flowers in the trash.
Why did she do that?? They were just flowers, they did nothing wrong & didn't deserve to be thrown in the trash. I could have taken them to the Hudson Nursing Home, or the
Homeless Shelter.

You need to get over the flowers Ty.

I spent a lot of money on those flowers Scott!!
Plus Maggie the florist lady gave me a small vase of the same flowers for my apartment.
She worked hard making them pretty for Amy.

Did you water them??

I'm supposed to water them??

Um, earth to Ty.......yes!!
They're probably dead by now......
So you killed flowers too.
Ty you need to choose your wars carefully.
If it were me, I'd forget about the flowers and ask Amy why she returned your engagement ring.

Amy was just.......I don't know......like a roller coaster of emotions.

Women get emotional Ty!! It's just how they're wired.

But I can't do this any more Scott. I don't have the energy.
But after I cleaned up the kitchen last night, I took Harley out for a ride & thought about my future & where I want to be tomorrow and next year, and all the rest of it.

No Ty, I'm not going to fire you. I understand how you feel about leaving and staying.
And I've had time to think about things too.
But let me say this......
You made a grave mistake by punching that kid.

His name is Cole.

You shouldn't have punched him Ty, for a lot of reasons. If Jack had been there.......
Lucky for you he wasn't.
But what upsets me the most Ty, is as an employee of this clinic; if Cole goes public with this, then the mess you made splashes onto me and my clinic. Simply because the media will say you work here.
So now you've hurt your career, my reputation, and Amy's. And Jack's too.

Scott......I'm sorry. You have my word this will never happen again.

Well, do you understand how your actions on your own time reflects on me too??
If customers leave, then I'm forced to lay off vet techs too. Armando would be the first to go; he did nothing to deserve getting fired......
Just like your flowers Ty!!

Ty lowered his head and felt bad; it was a humiliating conversation to have with his friend, mentor, and boss.

Scott....... Maybe I should just quit, it's obvious you're disappointed in me & maybe if I move away......any fall out from Cole's story would lessen your fall out & save Armando's job.
You and Amy could tell the media I was rash & impetuous and then moved away.

Where to?? Is Dr Bigelow going to hire you now??

I hadn't thought about that.

Well, you probably should find out where he stands, before you move forward.

Ty.......I've known you for a long time, & when I was your age I made worse mistakes than punching some kid, who kicked me in the nuts.
If I had been there, I might have punched him too. I'm not saying what you did was right, but it was justified to defend yourself.
I might live to regret this.....but if you stay Ty,
I'm willing to make you an offer.....
