Chapter 18

" What. In. The. Heavenly. Arkwood. Are. You. Doing?" I asked with Kiara's form hovering over my body.

She just stared at me.

Kiara's lips then tilted after a good five seconds.

" I accidentally fell on you. " She said cracking a smile afterwards.

That sounds so much like a lie. But whatever she was planning to do , I don't even want to hear it 'cause this girl can go too far.

" Well , that's what you didn't say when you purposely straddled her!" I heard a voice which definitely belonged to Jay.

Kiara shot a death glare to a person which I assume was Jay standing by my head.

"...now I am getting off you, " She continued , giving me a nervous smile.

When I finally got off the ground , I then quickly looked at the surroundings. Jay , Alaric and Kieran finally got into view. Alaric was purple for some reason. Jay looked unbothered as he always is. Kieran was avoiding my stare. Wait a minute. Something's wrong.

" Where...is Helena?" I asked dusting off my dress.

" She bailed out on us. She just vanished. " Jay said shrugging his shoulders.

" But she got us near the location so I believe that's something," Kieran said kicking a rock.

" Kiara , can I ask you a question?" Alaric asked after returning to a normal colour.

Kiara nodded slowly.

" Do you like gi-"

" CAN WE GET GOING?! " Kiara shouted.

We all nodded slowly at her sudden outburst then stared at Kieran.

" What?" He asked rasing his brow.

" We don't know where the waterfall is , bro."

Kieran then widened his eyes in realization then started walking towards the left.

" Just a few steps then we are there!"

We then hesitantly followed Kieran.

" We're here. "

Fatigue blinded us for a moment as we didn't look focus on what was infront of us. A waterfall that reached as high as Mount. Kilimanjaro graced our eyes. Do you know those type of things in nature that you thought you'd never see in your life? Yeah , this damn waterfall is one of those. The water even glittered like crystals for some reason.

" Then where is the Great Rock?" Kiara asked popping my bubble of thought.

" It got destroyed during the war. " Kieran answered with a sigh.

" That dragons and-"

" Yeah. " Kieran avoiding that topic.

" Then what do we do now? Where is that fairy dude?"

" He's probably behind the waterfall. Some say fairies live in caves- behind waterfalls. " Kieran said shrugging his shoulders.

Everyone looked at the enormous waterfall proving the laws of gravity.

" ...how is one even going to enter the cave? We'd be pushed down by the water before we even get there. "

Eveyone huffed in frustration.

" I have a plan."

Everyone's eyes landed on Kiara. Kiara moved an inch closer and closer to me until I could feel her breath on my face.
