Chapter 4

Bella and I always took the day off after a wedding just to relax and unwind. Being a professional wedding planner was not easy, however the Fleury's were very easy to work with.

I found it quite ironic that I was around people who were deeply in love, but I had never felt that myself. I always thought it was amazing how much love the couples at the alter looked at each other with. They always looked like nothing could tear them apart. They looked like they were meant for each other and I only wished that one day someone would look at me like that. I wanted someone to look at me like I was they're world and they wanted me in their life no matter the ups and downs life brought us. Maybe that's why I've only had short term relationships.... I think the hardest part about loving someone is dealing with the curve balls your individual life brings as well as your life as a couple. It's hard to do, but I'm sure when you find someone who will stick with you through anything it's the greatest feeling ever. It always makes me glum to realize I don't have this yet even though I would like it.

I sighed getting out of bed tiredly after sitting in bed thinking for an hour practically making myself sad about being single before I decided to unwind and shower.

After I showered I decided to get ready for the day. I didn't have any plans at the moment. I knew I couldn't make any with Bella because she would be hanging out with her husband. I got dressed in a red tank top with a grey camisole over it before slipping on jeans and a pair of toms my mom got me last christmas. I curled my hair and smiled satisfied with the final product. I then remembered I needed makeup! I put on eyeliner and mascara and decided I looked good. My phone began ringing and I saw Eddie Lack wants to FaceTime popped up on the screen. I accepted the request and saw the silly Swedish man pop up on the screen.

"Hey Eddie," I said smiling.

"Hey jenn," Eddie said giving me a goofy smile back.

"What's up?" I asked smiling

"Nothing just wanted t-to check how you're d-doing," Eddie said stuttering slightly. I couldn't help, but smile at Eddie.

"I'm good. I'm super bored though," I said sighing sitting on the couch.

"Same. If only y-you lived in Vancouver," Eddie said smiling brightly in screen.

"Maybe you should just move to Pittsburgh," I chuckled as Eddie shook his head no.

"I couldn't leave Ryan he's my best bud," Eddie said nodding.

"What about Robert," I said pretending to be shocked.

"He s-still my bae," Eddie said jokingly.

After talking to Eddie for a couple more hours he had to go so I was once again left alone and bored out of my mind. I decided I would just walk around Pittsburgh. What else is there to do when you're bored out of your mind?

I was walking in the slightly chilly Pittsburgh air just thinking about my job and I couldn't help but think of Sid.

"Jenn?" I heard behind me. I turned around and met those beautiful brown eyes that belonged to none other than Sidney Crosby.

"Oh hey Sid," I said smiling a small smile in his direction.

"What's up?" Sid asked.

"Nothing. I was bored so I was trying to find something to do, but have been unsuccessful thus far," I told him as we continued walking down the sidewalk. I noticed Sid wore sunglasses and a hat I'm guessing so people wouldn't know it was him.

"We can do something together. Have you gone to Hershey?" Sid asked me.

"Not recently my parents took me when I was like 10," I told him shrugging.

"Well then you're coming with me come on," Sid said leading me to a white range rover.

I chuckled and climbed in the passenger seat. I listened to Fall Out Boy hum through the radio quietly as Sid started driving to Hershey.

"Genos going to be mad I didn't invite him," Sid chuckled.

"Oh well," I said laughing and shrugging my shoulder.

"Ready for a day of fun?" Sid asked.

"You know it!" I exclaimed excited for what the day would bring.

A/N- Sorry this chapter is sooooooo short but I wanted to have their day in Hershey in a separate chapter since it will be longer and lots is going to happen so I hope you can accept my apology for the length of this chapter. I hope y'all like this chapter none the less though!
